sometimes i just want to dress like a bat and beat the shit out of hookers just like Bruce Wayne or Brian Boitano would do.

The Trinity of 80’s action cinema on set for Expendables 2, I want more Rourke and Crews, less Stathan personally in the new film

Nice and agree to a point.
Stallone is the lead though, and it has to be hard to create a movie where you do not cater to all the “stars”. So you dont end up with a SNL type movie with short clips slapped together so you get your Jet Li fight scene, Bruce witty remarks and amazing feats, Arnolds one liners and flexing domination, etc.
Plus isnt JCVD going to be in this one?

To me The Expendables is like taking steak, ice cream and popcorn and mixing them together because they’re my three favorite foods and expecting them to be greater than the sum of their parts but ends up ruining all three.
That analogy is not entirely good because I never even liked Stallone at any time…so I guess it’s more like mixing steak, ice cream and coconut. I hate coconut.
But oddly enough I like the smell of coconut.
But also to break the analogy i don’t believe I’d like the smell of Stallone…even though I love pizza.

Van Damne AND CHUCK MOTHERFUCKING NORRIS!!!
Still want more Rourke I would have liked him to have come in and saved them all at the end
Maybe the movie would be good if they got Roddy Piper. I’m not biased or anything.
^ I thought Roy said or posted a link that Rourke dies in this one?

Van Damme is in this?
If so, I will def go see it…just to see how the hell that many “non-actors” can fit in one movie screen without it being absolutely fucking hilarious with lots of explosions.

This made me laugh so hard I think I peed a little. Just a little though, so I’m all good.

I believe they were reporting that Expendables 2 was going to be an ode to 80’s martial arts films. Hopefully we’ll see some bad ass shit from Van Damme, Norris, and Jet Li.
Fingers crossed Nicky Cage and John Travolta are merely rumors and not actually in the film.
Personally, I’d like to see more of Dolf Lundgren. That guy was such a shitty actor in the 80’s and 90’s. Sure, he was bad ass as Ivan Drago, but everything else was pretty much shit. The 2000’s have been good to him. Maybe him stepping up to the role of director made him a better actor. Movies like Icarus, The Defender, and Expendables have been great. Way better than the stuff from his younger days.

I am just glad Cruise has not been brought on either. One scene with Cage ad Travolta, would be great. Tied to a chair with a gag and building blown up. End scene.

I was bullshitting with one of the girls that works at GameStop. Looks like on the 18th when they release Arkham Asylum there will be an option to purchase all the DLC Map/Character packs for a total of $18.99. That will net, something like 6 extra Batman skins, 3 Robins, and Nightwing. I don’t know how many challenge maps that will include, or if only Robin comes with the extra maps.

.

.

Make that 7 Batman skins.

I could live with that.

Yea Cage could be a brother and Travolta a cousin or some shit, make them the revenge motive for the movie. Plus no talking, just start scene with them tied up and with gags. Some how Cage will play it like Elvis and Travolta will be the fat Italian guy who is still cool.
Maybe have a guy rough them up a bit, some face punches or hammer to the feet type thing.
Steven Segal, Chuck Norris, Van Damme. Next Expendables triumvirate. No dialogue other than one liners before/after they kill someone. Nothing but kicking ass and explosions
