I think he replaced himself. Word was, he was not happy with how they edited the Hulk movie. I personally liked it, but do agree that more focus on Norton would have worked even better seeing as how they played the “fugitive” angle.
Either way, there is no way this movie can even fail. Even if it sucks, you are guaranteed a sequel because of the numbers.

Voting with the wallet has always been the best way to let a company know that the people are not happy with the products offered. Internet forums are nice, but they usually translate to a very vocal minority. I didn’t think re-branding the service and making it two separate monthly charges was a very good idea to begin with. It’s kind of sad. They’ve built up a great service, and now everyone wants a piece of their pie. The studios want more money. Starz wants more money. The distributors want more money. Ultimately it’s the customer that gets bit in the ass.

WTF? Norton wasn’t the Hulk. He was Bruce Banner. There hasn’t been a bad Bruce Banner yet in the Hulk films, but Eric Bana made a better Banner than Norton. Bana would have been a good choice for this role since he has more experience in action films than Norton and Ruffalo combined. Plus, he’s bigger than the other two so he would fit in better with this cast. I’m not a fan of Marvel’s choice to make the Banner character smaller and weaker each year. I liked Banner’s character better when Marvel drew him (and Parker for that matter) as a man and not a 95lb pantywaist. Norton becoming Banner annoyed me for a long time for the same reason. Anyways, Ruffalo will do fine as yet another Banner; it’s not a difficult role. All he has to do is pretend to get angry and let CGI take care of the rest.
Hawkeye should get a fair chunk of time in front of the camera.
- Hakeye has been an Avenger pretty much since 1965.
- Jeremy Renner is too good of an actor to just brush off on the sidelines.
