i’m not a big fan of fps unless zombies are involved. Huge on rpg and strategy rpg.

Guess I’m the only one who caught this. But . . . fuck yeah! Love these movies. Give me vampires and werewolves (and not the Twilight crap) over zombies any day.

I’ve spent some ridiculously long hours playing Deus Ex. Excellent game. I’m diggin’ it. Load screens are a little long, but that’s my only complaint. I love how someone could probably play thru the whole game without spending one praxis point on any upgrades. Definitely a stealth game more than a shooter, much like Splinter Cell: Conviction.

I generally have been playing up the stealth side, and bypassing the enemies. Unless they piss me off, by trying to ambush me or sent out kill squads to hunt me down. Then I kill them all. I’ve gone so far as to headshot guys that I’ve already knocked unconscious. I like to think it sends a message back to their boss. Anyways, my recommended upgrades…
Hacking Skills - up them to level 3 or 4, MAx out node fortification
Invisibility is AWESOME. Max that shit out.
Icarus fall arrest system. - Prevents death from falling off high places.
Legs - Jumping and silent running are great

Combine the Silent Running, Invisibilty, and Icarus, and you become a stealth parkour god.

I maxed out inventory so I can steal enemy weapons and sell them to buy more praxis points for upgrades. [/quote]

I don’t know what in shit you all are talking about (I mean, I know it’s Dues Ex, I just have never played the series nor do I know anything about it), but this post alone just makes it sound stupid cool.

Sounds like they don’t want another Microsoft.

Yep… Kate Beckinsale is still hot. In other news the sky is blue and grass is green.

Besides Uncharted 1 and 2, InFamous and God of War 3 are my favorite PS3 exclusives.

I figured I was the last Underworld fan left. At least the new movie will make $14 in ticket sales.

All I can say is, if you got an extra $60 pick up Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It’s a first person stealth shooter, with an RPG aspect in the form of some really swanky gadgets. Game play is phenomenal and the first 75% of the story will suck you in.

Another year and another release of Star Wars: The Original Trilogy. Except, it’s not the original trilogy. It’s the original trilogy plus all the crap George Lucas added 10 years ago and some crap he’s added just for this super duper blu-ray release. We won’t be getting the Original Trilogy in it’s classic theatrical release, but we will be getting some new gems straight from the mind of George Lucas.

  • I’m assuming all the previous additions to the mvies are still there
  • Darth Vader screams, “NNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!” while killing the Emporer
  • Obi-Wan scares off the Sand People by screaming like Jackrabbit that just found the business end of a cattle prod
  • R2-D2 now has rocks to hide behind, thus evading the Sand People
  • Jabba gets a rather ridiculously large door for his cave palace.
  • EWOKS BLINK!!! Spiffy!

And that is why I am searching thru eBay for used copies of the original theatrical release of the Star Wars movies in DVD format.

And I found a pretty good article on Marcia Lucas or rather Marcia Griffen. George Luas’ ex-wife and editor for the original trilogy.

Forget that, I will be seeing this in theaters on day 1 and buying the bluray just to make sure they keep making more. I just hope Raze (the big Black Lycan) and Micheal (The Vampire/Lycan hybrid) are in it.

King George’s tinkering with the movies continues…

http://www.denofgeek.com/movies/797147/star_wars_the_phantom_menace_3d_gets_release_date.html

Starting next year with The Phantom Menace, he is retrofitting them all with 3D and launching them one per year into cinemas. Jar Jar in 3D, anyone?

Scott Speedman has been asked if he’s in and he said “no”…that doesn’t mean Michael won’t appear: the cast have hinted that the character will feature.

The nature and size of Michael’s role is yet to be disclosed, but a couple of things hint at Michael being a major villain in this.

Latest pic of Henry Cavill in the new super-suit…

Good. Someone needed the balls to do away with underwear on the outside of your pants. They got that idea from old acrobat and strongman outfits. It sucks today.

I hope this movie kicks ass.

Also, they finally picked someone who doesn’t need fake muscles to look “super” in the first place.

My hope is that they’ll establish the new costume as traditional Kryptonian attire and not just a cool-looking suit thrown together to fight crime in.

It makes perfect sense for Supes to wear clothing that represents his heritage and who he is. That seems to be the direction they’re taking with the new design. Faora’s costume seems to have a similar look (although most of the shots of her are either blurry or only partially visible).
