The Furyan legacy is explained in the theatrical cut by the Purifier.

[spoilers]

The Purifier reveals he was once a Furyan and he spares Riddick’s life on the fire planet knowing he is the only one left alive who is capable of putting down the Lord Marshal.

[/spoilers]

The new Riddick movie is rumored to be the most epic, spanning 30 years and the plot covers events from before, during and after Pitch Black and CoR.

You know movie studios are on board with getting PG-13 ratings because it means more sales and more money. So I’m sure it was easy for Norris to get a PG-13 rating.
I don’t think they should drop him outright. They should give him an epic entrance then kill him off straightaway as a nod to his invincible image.

Terminator animated with Arnold’s voice as the T-800, if R rated could be epic

I’ve lost interest in The Terminator. It is now very clear the second one was a fluke.

Geez, I done kil’t the last thread. Repost of thread-ender item:

Have you guys seen this commercial yet?

I don’t have a Playstation, but I recognize most of the characters. Still thought it was a pretty cool concept for a commercial.

Also thought it was funny/interesting that Kratos seems to be the only CGI’d human (I’m like 90% sure it’s CGI and not a real guy. The lighting on him seems weird). As if they couldn’t possibly have found anyone that size to just stand there and nod.
great ad campaign, really takes you back to the massive videogaming ad campaigns in the late 80’s and throughout the 90’s

Gave me chills, really missed this sort of stuff

Just a question I wanted to ask here…but has anyone else noticed that a lot of kids lately don’t seem to be as “quick” as we were mentally? It isn’t just on this site either…but the average person seems to be dulling down. I think technology is going to screw us if it hasn’t already.

I think it is the opposite, I volunteer at a few elementary schools in Los Angeles and I am amazed at the way most of the kids carry out conversations. I am also constantly laughing at the things they say when arguing with other kids.

I think ‘technology is going to screw us if it hasn’t already’ could only come from the dullest of minds.

I am referring more to high school age.

I agree with you about really young kids.

?

Really?

Tech has a whole bunch of benefits - including making life so easy for people that they no longer have to use their brains.

Blows my mind that we can make those games in Flash now, when we needed an entire console a little over a decade ago.

Those games were epic, the kids nowadays really are missing out.

Just to be more specific…but I see way more people who seem to really think they are freaking brilliant but who may just be below average intelligence. I fear “Google Smartz”.

Definitely. I’m not sure if it’s due to more idiots managing to get online, or if the world generally is getting dumber.

Technology provides a platform for personal and intellectual advancement unmatched and unprecedented.

Anti-intellectualism arises from social ills, not an abundance of means.
Not to mention that those with high cultural capital have always been in the extreme minority throughout human history.

Ah shit!

The game looks fucking awesome. I’m going to play this, definitely. I bet I’m going to have a lot of giggles throughout. Hahaha!

Thanks for sharing this.
Yeah, Norris would walk up to the Expendables and say something about how swearing is bad for the kids. Schwarzenegger would pull out his shotgun, tell him to fuck off and blow his head off.

That would be such an epic scene.

If that is good enough to convince me to go see the movie at the cinema, then fuck Yes!

I think high school kids have been stupid since the dawn of time.
