Probably… Though it’s a somewhat different kind of game…

I want Baldur’s Gate 3 or Planescape Torment 2…

Damnit.

The Witcher looks fantastic but yea, very different game from DA. Reminds me of Thief really…a much better looking Thief.

I second the cry for a BG3. DA:O was fun, but I miss THAC0. And Minsc.
I can’t see them bringing out a BG3 using old D&D rules to be fair, but I’d settle for a 3.5 ruleset quite happily.

The first one was fun - but left you wanting alot more.

I have high hopes…
It was hella short I felt. Which was a good thing in my case as I tend to have ADD when it comes to games and rarely ever finish them since, well going back to the original FarCry. AA was the first game I’d finished in years lol.

But I’m sure I could’ve put another 5 or 6 hours into it, aside from just doing the challenges and collectors guff of course.

Did either of you play the first witcher? Both witcher 1 and 2 are nothing like any of the thief games (I played the entire series as a kid). That witcher clip I posed was simply a mission where you had to escape from a prison and they were showing off some of the stealth. The witcher is much more like DA but without the party. You can pause the game, decide which weapons and spells to use against which opponents, select missions and make choices through dialogue and mission objectives. You can even zoom way out to a more top down view. I guess I posted a poor video representing the game.

Check this out if interested. Sorry it’s not embedded, I couldnt find this vid on youtube.

I’m looking forward to playing witcher, I bought it on steam for 5 bucks awhile back but I’m still finishing up GTA 4 right now.

Yummy but the show will still suck.

AT&T agrees to buy T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom for $39 billion

This would make AT&T the sole GSM carrier in America and that’s a bad thing.

I think T-Mobile USA will remain a separate entity in the US, purely because of their comments on getting the iPhone 4 on their network.

Finally finished GTA 4 last night now its on to the DLCs. I hope in those I like the npcs I work for more, out of all the ones in GTA 4 I only liked packie and elizabetta and the only reason I liked her was because she killed the documentary guys. Wish I could’ve fucked Kate, I bet shes wild in the sack.

I’ve been playing it all day and it is awesome!

Guys, any good games like Tomb Raider?

3rd person perspective adventure/puzzle/action ?

Oh, and anyone slightly disappointed with Netflix Instant stream over PS3 (and I believe 360) ?

I like it but obviously the movies are DVD quality only, nowhere near Blu-ray and the network gets bogged down (I think) due to heavy usage of Netlfix instant during high traffic times (Sat afternoon/evenings, for instance). I love it and hate it at the same time.

I also wish the catalogue was a lot larger. Netflix can hit gold with this because I still read complaints about their DVD-by-mail service.

The only game I’ve played that’s similiar recently is the games in the Assassin’s Creed Series. A lot of the explorable dungeon areas make you figure out the route to take. Honestly though, not that many of them are that challenging.

The Drake series for PS3. Don’t know what you own but if you do have a PS3 chances you have already played at least the first one. Hitman was always a fun game in looking to kill your targets etc. Splinter Cell was great. The most recent one I felt badass just running around punching everyone in the face. Played levels where I just did that. Some of the games not so much like Tomb Raider but Drake would be the closet thing to it.

Took the words right out of my mouth with the Drake games. If you haven’t played Uncharted 2, play it immediately. It’s like a perfectly realized Indian Jones game, no BS. Game was sick. It took me a couple of hours to get into it, but after that, the story really took off…

My new phone…

The HTC EVO 3D

Video of the beast.

Info on the beast

"Wow, seems like were creating quite buzz today. I haven’t even had a chance to show up yet, and we are still a day away from announcing anything. I want to ensure people that there is going to be no thunder, spot light, and anything of the sort to be taken away from EVO 3D, EVO View, Nexus S 4G, and a few others to be announced.

I think it is time to kick things up a notch though. I predicted EVO 3D would have some folks asking themselves what the hell? I think will move into a next phase called industry first.

I will have to correct myself on a earlier post about EVO 3D and 10mp camera. I don’t know if it is going to be a correction, but clarification. I will go into that later.

First:

  1. HTC EVO 3D will isolate twin cameras to produce the firsts 180 degree panoramic photo at 5mp resolution. (Option will be in sense UI)
  2. HTC EVO will produce the first ever 10mp photo on cell phone by using what is called paralax photo capture (each camera will capture an image and over lay it to produce 10mp photo) (Once again tap on 10mp photo)
  3. Light sampling will be independent of each CMOS sensor to produce what will be close to night vision capture (Night Owl)
  4. EVO 3D Hollywood, EVO 3D is only device on the market with next generation Qualcomm processor’s with built in DRM. EVO 3D will support all digital streaming content (Netflix, Hulu, and other independent sites with DRM subscriptions.)
  5. YouTube 3D part of the EVO 3D Hollywood pack.
  6. True 4G, EVO 3D will be the industry first (LTE+WimaX) device. Sprint has plans for all 4G devices to be backwards compatible and be able to support (Wimax+LTE) (Shift/Epic/EVO/etc.)
  7. Will be the first none Nexus device to launch with Google 2.3.3 Gingerbread.
  8. Worlds first qHD 3D display on a 4.3in screen (Pixel Density Classified)
  9. Industry first dual channel 1gig DDRRAM and with active 4gig tri-channel ROM (5gig total Ram with unlimited ROM as SDcard will act as more like a HD drive)
  10. That is just a few of the industry first that will be presented on EVO 3D launch.
There will be no thunder stolen, no spot light stolen, and no industry first stolen from HTC EVO 3D gram for gram this is undisputed superphone.

We will over clock the cpu, gpu, and memory to a point of embarrassment. Scorpion has had no problems testing at 2.0ghz, Andrenio x2 clocks, memory 50% clock. I know this would come at a cost to battery life, but larger battery will handle it better then current EVO. A phone launching the same time as EVO 3D will be irrelevant for at least one year. I think it best for companies to slow there roll and go with the flow and stay stock for the time being.
I wanted to launch EVO 3D July 4th for obvious reasons, but now it will be in June in celebration of EVO 4G one year anniversary."

I’m impressed with the improvements HTC have made to Sense - it’s looking MUCH better than the stock Android interface.

Very cool looking phone, absolutely rammed with features. I wonder what the battery life is like, it seems to be the biggest issue for smart phone nowadays.

Still think 3D is a fad though, and it won’t be “official” or that good until Apple does something with it, I hate to admit.

I agree that 3D is a fad but the phone has enough features (physical camera button) other than that to make it a worthy upgrade from the EVO 4G. I believe that the EVO 3D will ship with a 1740 mAh battery (the EVO 4G came with a 1500 mAh battery) so I’m sure it’ll last a day of moderate use.

I’m sad to see the kick stand go.

I can’t wait.
