Not a huge fighting game person, but I love all the characters that will be in this thing.
Kratos vs. Nathan Drake vs. Cole McGrath vs. Sly Cooper = awesome!

Diablo III is here to take my soul away.
I’ll gladly forfeit it!
MY BODY IS READY!
I’m very OK with this new Spider-Man.
When you think about it, it has moved on to a new bad guy, the Lizard, and were all of us so enamored with Toby McGuire that we couldn’t bear to see someone else take the role? Sure we’ll have to see his origin again, but I bet it’ll be short.
I just like the look of Spidey and the feel of the action (the way he shoots his web, and I don’t just mean the mechanical web shooters as opposed to organic) and the rest leaves me impressed.

So Super Smash Brothers, but for PS3?
I think I’m going to have to stop buying comics, I dumped most of the dc books because it seems they’re trying to force Jim Lee’s Image characters down my throat and I never cared for Wildcats or that stuff. Now Wolverine is the first person to form the X-Men and it is in continuity with an amnesiac Namor really well all I can say Marvel is

I don’t even like spiderman that much but I think this will be good.

THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN (3D) - 4 MINUTE SUPER PREVIEW - YouTube [/quote]
The origin story is far meatier than in Sam Raimi’s movies and will be explored into the sequels, definitely spawning at least one villain (hate it when they just turn up). The trailer drops a few hints as to why it won’t just be a case of a geeky kid getting bitten by a radioactive spider. He’s at the heart of a conspiracy and his intelligence isn’t natural.
I was done with Toby McGuire by Spider-Man 3. He seemed like a good choice initially but in hindsight the first two movies never pushed him. The intelligence and humor were missing. Spidey 3 was a disaster but it showed just how limited McGuire was. His attempts at playing ‘bad’ were horrendous. Like a goth with a hangover.
It would have been really interesting if they made Spidey the villain by having him hunt a murderous copycat who turns out to be him under the influence of the symbiote.

In idea, only. Sony doesn’t have what it takes to make a game engine that is both easy to pick-up and learn quickly and still in-depth with so much strategy involved at higher levels like Nintendo can do.
It will be awesome, though, in it’s own way. As fun as Smash Bros? Highly doubtful.
If only they could combine them and make a game with adult themes and characters with the gameplay of Smash Bros. World wouldn’t be ready for that…
Cool little puzzle game I got for my GNex phone. It’s designed for iPad or Android Tablet but if you have a large format phone, you should be OK.
Instant addiction.

I liked the second one when it first came out…but Brotherhood went and corrected some of the issues with direction and fighting (something they still need to improve).
I fully expect this next one to have all of that corrected. One major thing I hate is bending down to pick something up and the perspective of the camera instantly changes to directly behind him no matter what. This can fuck up your orientation for a second.

Best story of them all though.

The biggest camera issue I seem to run into involved chasing the pickpocket. A few times the way it switch confused the hell out of me and I ended up going in the wrong direction or flying off a ledge.
We really should split out geek shit into geek shit and VIDEO GAMES.
loved A dame to kill for, hopefully the movie will stay true to the comic.

Just because you have no interest in comics, movies, and games doesn’t mean other people don’t.
I like this thread being a one stop shop.
