Gay Rage

Surely you agree with your father’s advice? Then take it.
I’m sure 'dog has an answer of his own, but my answer is and always has been that it’s not my business until the Federal Gov’t makes it my business. When I’m taxed one way regardless of my sexuality and they’re taxed another based on theirs, then yeah, my taxation is a concern. When I’m taxed to support social healthcare regardless of my perception of their health and lifestyle choices, then yeah, my taxation is my business.

Just like there’s “don’t ask, don’t tell” and then there’s “we don’t have to ask”; there’s “you worry about you” and then there’s “shut up and gimme your money”.

Edit: And it should be pointed out that in the OP’s examples, the wedding photographer, bridal shop, etc. were worrying about themselves. It’s not like they were punching out other photographers who were working gay weddings or finding transgendered people on the street waving wedding dresses in their face and saying, “Naaahope, can’t have this!!!”.
I can understand that, but we all have a lot of situations we don’t agree with there. I think we spend too much on the military. I’m not sure what makes a church so special that they don’t have to pay certain taxes that I would as an individual. I don’t see the need for a lot of farm subsidies we have. The “but it’s my taxation” thing is basically endless and going to be a loser for everything.

We all basically only want to be taxed for the stuff we support and we all want our taxes as low as possible by extension.

My main point was it’s highly hypocritical for someone as hyper concerned with blacks, gays, etc. as conservativedog has been throughout his history to tell someone else to mind his own business.

And his arguments are rarely about something like taxation.

Also the “I have a gay friend” or “I have a black friend” is usually the hallmark defense of racist and homophobes.
Arguing against ‘I have a gay friend’ statements over the internet is the hallmark of stupidity for several reasons;

 1. Circular logic works both ways, you presuming he only has one black friend or that his having only one black friend makes him a racist is very bigoted (esp. in light of no.2). There was one black family in the church where I grew up, my brother dated the daughter and took her to prom, we ended up with a burning cross on our lawn and they family moved away. I went from one black friend to zero black friends, guess that means I’m pretty racist, huh?
You’re getting things a little twisted here. I have very few black friends. Really only two. I have very few gay friends (really only two and honestly one of them is family). That is because I have basically always lived in small areas of Kansas except for while going to college in Kansas and even then minimal diversity. I’m probably out numbered when it comes to “good friends” who are gay or black.

My issue is not based on the amount by any means. I don’t constantly say negative things about gay people or black people like c-dog has a history of doing. It’s an established and long history over many different threads. Telling people about the “gay friend” or the “black friend” in the midst of long constant rants depicting those groups of people in the negative manner he always does is the hallmark (stealing your phrase) of racist and homophobic people. The amount of friends, co-workers, lovers, etc that come from diversity has nothing to do with my perspective on that. I’ve always found racist thinking people are quick to tell you that they had one black dude they used to work with and they didn’t lynch him or something.

If you go through c-dog’s postings in PWI and don’t come away with thinking he’s racist then you’re REALLY bad at spotting racism. He has multiple posts, threads, etc all devoted to painting black people in the most negative light possible. He’s admitted it before why he feels that way even. It’s not really a secret.

I know that this thread has been dead for quite some time. I just wanted to tell you guys that this thread is full of a lot of BS. I do not understand people who get worked up about gay people being unnatural or what people do with their lives as long as they aren’t hurting anyone. Unsurprisingly the regular culprits are at work again- a guy from Texas- who thinks that being gay is a choice and is formed by letting your sons play with dolls- yet claims he is not homophobic.

This testosterone fest you guys have going on here is stupid. Not all straight men are neanderthals; most of you guys here aren’t, but some of the comments are unreal. I’m gay and I don’t get the obsession men have with gay guys and gay sex, talking about it, joking about it, being scared of it. It is not a big deal, and people should have the freedom to be married to be equals in our society full stop. Sexuality and gender are two different things and straight men often forget that we are just as male as you guys-- not all of us are feminine, and many of us are masculine acting enough that you have no idea.
Nice first post. Got anything that is factually based?
lol

…and what’s more what is with this shit about fear? what about the freedom to not like some people without some dick telling you it’s because you’re supposedly “racist” or a “homophobe?” ahahah

i had gay neighbors (not jim neighbors) that i was great friends with. some of the people they had over for parties i didn’t like. had nothing to do with gay or black.

but there’s always somebody that sets themselves above the rest because evidently they can read minds and declare you afraid of whatever pussy idea they made up in their mind.
Who said you weren’t free to do that? You’re actually mad society came up with words to describe something? Sounds like a pedophile complaining for being called a pedophile just because he likes to see little boys naked. You’re free to be racist and homophobic, and the rest of us are free to call you that.

The unintentional humor is amazing though. Also the “I have a gay friend” or “I have a black friend” is usually the hallmark defense of racist and homophobes. You have a list of black people you like. I don’t. You’re racist and I’m not. I think you should embrace your bigotry. Be proud of it man! At the end of the day you’re going to fear and dislike black people. That’s just who you are. At least quit trying to convince the world of something you’re not.
hmmm… how else do you communicate you have a neighbor who is gay or co-worker friends that are black? lol. how fuckin weird can you get?

i had gay neighbors on either side of me for eight years. i lived in an upscale older neighborhood and lived around the corner from the city’s mayor. muhammad ali was married in the mayors home. i met ali back in the 1980’s.

the one side was a dude that had a beautiful blond 19 year old daughter from a marriage he left after twenty-two years. he shared his house with two other men. the other side was a doctor and his live in which i visit with to this day.

google that info you should be able to find out who i am. it ain’t hard.
Why would I google to find out who you are? Unless you’re some type of celebrity I really don’t care. Honestly everyone on here is just a screen name to me and if I find out their name is Steve Johnson or Bill Fredricks or whatever it doesn’t change anything.

As to your first point, using the terms black or gay doesn’t make you racist or homophobic and I never even attempted to say that. Making homophobic or racist remarks consistently and attempting to defend with “but I have a black co-worker!” or “I had a gay neighbor” is hilarious.

Hint: People who aren’t racist or aren’t homophobic don’t have to spend time convincing other people of that. 100% of the time racist and homophobic people are the ones doing that. Think about it.

…my father used to tell me something every now and again as a boy.

he would say “don’t worry about what THEY are doing, you take care of YOU.”

in other words, “THEY” are no concern of yours.

…so take a hint. take care of you. then take your judges robe off and take that log out of your eye.
Trying to point something out to you, via pure logic. If you don’t like a category of something, whose description is tightly wrapped up in it’s name, it becomes hard to say you dislike that thing other than for it’s namesake.

If you say you dislike homosexuals you have a few options, it could be because you dislike all humans and hominids, since gays fall into that category, or you can dislike gays for the simple fact they are gay.

Is there another option? I’m simply elaborating the facts for you. If there’s a log in my eye then please point out what it is specifically. Anyhow, maybe this is something you should answer for yourself. You aren’t convincing many here.

He could have said “black man’s penis” or “gay man’s penis”, but he didn’t. Maybe he is now prejudiced against Tigers?

I do not see him as being racists or a gay hater. He is just pointing out the double standards of the MSM and the “supposed” leaders of the black community. He might go to the extreme, but his posts are not racist. I think he is showing the the MSM and the “supposed” leaders of the black community are the racists.

…what i would worry about is what racism, sexism or whatever DOES to impede or harm me, not what someone says about me. that is so trivial.

in other words how do you rate the Rwandan Genocide?

what’s worse saying black people eat fried chicken or Rwandan Genocide? what are you doing to save black lives?

your racism charges pale and makes you look insignificant, like you are trying to jump on the civil rights movement fight fifty years after the dangerous work was done.

the worst place on the face of the earth for a black person to be is on the continent of africa. the best place? These United States of America.

But perhaps not, so please clarify what you meant by hot liking homosexuals without being homophobic. Do you dislike all homosexuals? If so why?

I’ve been on that side of the line. Look around, look to your priests and ask yourself if they are straight. Now imagine having a gay kid (wired to be gay) great kid goes to sunday school, stud on the field, and then puberty hits… My puberty was insanely complicated and confusing for me, remember how fucked up puberty was? Now imagine having those feelings towards the wrong sex, and everybody you trust from your father to your religion says it’s a sickness, sin… Even the Priest who’s living that fat lie, or maybe he’s honest and really believes his homosexuality is a test from God…

How horrible that must be. You can do what some suggest and live a fucking lie, or you can come out and people will hate you for being born a certain way. That’s some ugly shit, I want no part of it. There are some ex gay pornstar vids about this poor gay dude who things devils are in his ass or something. The amount of lies and excuses people have to make up for their homophobia sicken me more than the thought gay sex itself.

So in that sense we are similar. I don’t wish them any harm, difference is I wish them full lives, and the same freedoms I enjoy.

i have never espoused that a particular race is superior to another. i am and never have been afraid of homosexuals.

why this generation above all in past history tends to believe if they are pro-homo and attack someone for religious beliefs ect… are somehow superior enough to deserve to hint that anyone that doesn’t do same is ignorant isn’t very wise.
