I’d define mindless as one who continues arguing without addressing the merits of his opponent’s points in a logical, direct manner. And no, continually returning to the argument that anything which peripherally involves sticking a “dick” in another’s “ass” is neither logical or direct. Perhaps obessive, but not logical or direct.

Let me explain this further.
Africans were stolen or kidnapped by both Europeans and Africans and then sold into slavery. They were brought over here on ships packed in like sardines, shitting and pissing where they were. They were lucky to make it here alive. The ones that weren’t were dumped overboard.
You’re split from your family, you just went through a terrible trip, you’re in a foreign land and you’re tied up. You have no idea what is going to happen to you, or what is going to happen to your family.
You’re sold to a slave master that whips you and forces you to work for hardly anything. You are not free, you are property.
You do find another slave that you like, and you secretly have a relationship.
You wish to get married so you could try to create a family to make things better. You can’t because you’re property. You’re property, and therefore subhuman, because you happen to be born in a certain part of the world that gave you a certain skin color.
Is this right? Of course not.
Now, you are a gay man. You are interested in men. You are interested in sticking your anatomy in another man’s anatomy or vice versa (Don’t tell me this isn’t the case, cause with heteros it’s all about a guy wanting to stick his anatomy in a woman’s. Not to mention if it WEREN’T the case, then you would have no problem falling in love with a female, which would mean you’re NOT gay.).

Unfortunatly people have defined marriage as between a man and a woman. You wish to change these laws, and therefore the majority’s view, on marriage.
Homosexuality is still possibly a mental illness, perhaps created by chemical imbalances, developmental problems, or psychological factors. It also can be a choice. It is not something that you have no control over. There have never been black people that “figured things out” and became white, yet there are gay people that became straight. You wish to gain special rights because of this.
If you see this as a logical comparison, then perhaps YOU have a mental imbalance.

5{ogic of being anti-gay marriage because of the potential to leading to other ‘dangerous’ precedents is full of crap.
This topic is concerned with gay marriage, not incest, not pedophilia, not canned tuna, not Michael Jackson.
There is no risk to the public at large to the public by legalizing gay marriage. There are only two potential considerations.
First is the loss of financial spoils from gays not being allowed to collect spousal benefits which they inevitably pay for through taxes, insurance, and family programs. So by taking an anti-gay marriage position you are being descriminatory.
Second is the morality issue that so many are talking about. Obviously this is much more subjective. However if a law or legislation removes a personal freedom that otherwise does not impact directly on another citizen or citizens then I think the decision is simple. It has no place in a free society. Since the US (and Canada for that matter - which has not made up its mind on a federal level) is a free society then a citizen who opposes that freedom is unpatriotic and is saying that they are against the spirit of the constitution.
