I’m right there with you, man. Except I’m a hardcore introvert, and I’ve had to interact with people FAR more than I’m used to at my job during COVID, and it’s been non-stop bitching from all humans. Definitely sapping my motivation to train also.
If you need someone to commiserate with, let me know, brother
Sorry to hear you’re in the same boat man, and thanks a lot for the offer, I really appreciate it. Same offer stands for you, too
I told my wife yesterday that we need to get out more and will just have to be smart about it. She agreed so we might be headed in the right direction.
I’ll keep it in mind! I got decently fat for awhile and my wife said she noticed I was breathing weird in my sleep, but haven’t had issues in that vein for a long time. At least this time I’m fat and in decent cardio shape so I can breathe. haha
Squat - 400 x 4 - TM = 370 lbs
Bench - 265 x 3 - TM = 240 lbs
These are a huge departure from my recent performances, leading me to believe that I’m probably just burned out. I’m nutting up, taking my steps backward, and am going to push hard to earn it back. Likely going to do 1000% Awesome or Pervertor for my upcoming cycle.
I would do Pervertor as a 3-day program as well, I think I’d like to spend a little less time training for awhile. But in review, 1000% Awesome is the right move for me. My deload week will line up perfectly with a ski trip I’ll be taking.
I slept well last night and woke up without snoozing today. Funnily enough I’m motivated…should make a habit of this.
DL - 440 x 5 - TM = 440
Press - 155 x 4 - TM = 145
I felt good and performed well today. Brace held up really well for deadlift and my back feels better now than it did before the training session. 1000% Awesome on deck for Monday
Up and moving at 2:50 this morning for no reason, but I feel good so won’t complain. Normal PWO routine.

This was the right choice. Bar speed was good, body feels good, mild challenge, and I kept a fast enough pace that I stayed interested. Running tomorrow.

I’m a little sore from running, especially in the knees, but I expected it. Kept things flying this session and finished everything in less than an hour because I had a work meeting. Ready to eat.
I’m on blood pressure meds that make me shed electrolytes like it’s my job, plus I sweat a whole lot. Just pre-emptively getting extra electrolytes down.
You would think, wouldn’t you? But every male in my family has gone on meds right around 25 or so. Mine ran 140/80 on average but I would have really bad spikes in the 180/110 range at random. At that point it actually made my eyes hurt.
I felt like dog shit Friday - bad enough I considered getting a COVID test. Was better yesterday but spent the whole day helping my in-laws with leaves. Up and moving today, feeling really good after manual labor yesterday. Normal PWO routine.

I had fun with today’s session. Moved fast and felt good. Bar speed got faster as squat sets went on. Assistance was good but hamstrings are angry.
