Funny Story

Today I went to go and pay for my gear for my cycle, but everything didn’t go to plan… kinda…

I left my house, was driving, and had reached a state route I was going to take for a minute or two to get to the nearest Western Union. While I was on this state route, I saw a cop that had quickly pulled over to the side of the road and proceeded to turn around and follow me. He then turned his lights on and pulled me over.

I was already heading to go do something illegal (pay for steroids), so I was kind of freaking out. He greeted me and told me that I was going 66 in a 55. He asked me where was I going.

I was a then thinking of what to say, so I thought fast and said “the bank.” I then gave him my license and he went and confirmed it and gave it back to me. He told me to be careful and went on his way. I had never been pulled over in my life, and then the one day I decide to do the most illegal thing I’ve ever done, I get pulled over. What are the odds?

So I finally reach the WU and get the orders ready and I’m at the cashier, paying for the orders. I pay for them and when I turn around, there’s that same cop I had seen 15 minutes ago. He looks at me, then looks in my hand and says “going to the bank, huh?” and just smiles.

I half-heartedly laugh with him and make the fakest smile I’ve ever made and just reply “yeah”. I quickly make my way out of the store and drive home, looking for cops all along the way because I was paranoid that I might see another one.

My heart was beating so fast when I saw that cop right behind me when I turned around after having paid for my orders. Geez! haha I hoped this entertained someone.

Tough first time lad! Hehee

Yeah let’s just hope that next time is smoother. I just hope I did everything right. Oh, and the cashier was also a friend of mine I went to college with. (she dropped out)

She asked me “why so much money” and I just said “that’s just how it works.” Not as smooth of an answer, but it worked for her. She said that people were usually offended when she asked.

So why does she keep asking?

I guess we know know why she is a college drop-out, a bit slow on the up-take… ;D

lol!

The feeling of illegality never goes away… just lessens. It is worse when WU call you up a few days later and say the funds werent picked up as the receiver is suspected by WU of illegal activity, and that you need to go pick up your funds at a certain location… the words ‘shitting bricks’ comes to mind!

She’s not slow, she’s just unmotivated. She’s actually really intelligent. And I really hope that I don’t get that phone call.

And if my gear ever gets picked up by customs or anything like that, I’ll be clearing my internet’s private data after every use in case my house ever gets searched. haha

I know I probably don’t have to worry about that though. Damn I’m hungry.

Wow, I just got word that my parents, while driving down to North Carolina to visit relatives, had a terrible highway accident while it was raining pretty hard. Luckily they were not injured. But their car is totalled. What a crazy day…

Shit, I’m glad they’re ok.

I still remember my first trip to WU, I got asked a LOT of questions.

1.7% but then again 39% of all statistics are just made up.
That could actually be some good karma for you BDE. I guess you’ll be watching the mail closely at the end of the month now

aw,touching. you re going straight to hell!

you should have told the cop to back the fuck off otherwise you’d shoot him…

Thats crazy. Did you use your real name at WU?

A word of advice, or a tip. Go to a neighborhood where there is many undocumented workers sending money to other countries and go on paydays. Long lines but less questions, works for me.
They never even looked me on in the eyes.

I’d hate to hear how awkward your other first times must have been. Actually, no I wouldn’t that would be funny.

just messin with ya

She knew who I was. It would have been kinda hard to do that. Besides, I wouldn’t use an alternate name anyway. If they ask for ID, I’m screwed.
