I had a new funny as hell parent moment last night when I got home from work. My two yr old daughter met me at the door without her pants on (she dosen’t always like clothes) and her baby sisters bib on backwards (cape?). She then raised both her hands & spun in a couple very un gracefull circles. After wich she gave me a look of complete pride and declared herself a “princess”. I actually droped my computer I was laughing so hard.
Any other parents out there had these moments that are simply priceless ?
yesterday my daughter (age 6) came home from school with a picture of herself that she had drawn in art class. It was what she is going to be for Halloween- and where all of her friends are being princesses and Barbies my little girl has a drawn her body as a circle with her face of course and arms and legs.
What is funny is that in the circle in very big letters she had written FART ( so that everyone would know what her costume is.) Yes, my little girl is going as a whoopie cushion. The teacher had written across it “very nice”-J
When my twin boys were about 6 years old, they found an old box of maxi-pads when they playing cave explorer in the hall closet. They brought one out to my husband, who explained that they were “furniture polishers”.
A few days later, my husband and his friends were in the driveway, washing the truck and cars. My boys run out with the big box of pads. " Hey guys, you’re gonna need these!"
A very proud and funny parenting moment. My daughter, when she was about 4, was at daycare when an older boy, about 5, shoved her. From what I understand he pushed her hard and she went back quite a ways. My daughter didn’t get revenge right then and there, she waited. After about 30 min, when the teachers back was turned, my daughter tripped the kid forward in the sandbox and rode his face in the sand for about half a minute until the teacher broke it up.
It might be wrong from a modern child rearing instruction booklet, but I was so very proud of my daughter for standing up to that boy.
My wife and I were walking in the woods with our 9 year old (he was 6 then). He tripped on a root and fell on his face. Naturally my wife was at his side going “Are you OK?” almost before he hit the ground. He didn’t even pause to think. He said “Just trying to do some push-ups” while doing a couple of push-ups (or as close as he could get at 6 form-wise).
That was when I realized the poor kid was too much like me. Maybe he’ll grow out of it

One of the good ones…My 2 year old son was jumping on the couch, while I was in the kitchen making dinner and my wife was watching television. She told him to stop, he said no, she asked him if he wanted a spanking and he said yes. I walked out of the kitchen just to see what was happening and he had bent over and pulled his pants down to reveal his bare ass and he shouts to his Mom " Mommy Im ready for my spanking" figured he was to much like me for me to do anything so I walked back to the kitchen laughing.

Funny. Most of the times that I’ve had to discipline my kids, I’ve been biting my lip to try not to laugh because I had done the SAME THING when I was a kid.
Dad says most of the times that I got in trouble he was in the same boat.

My little one is only 4 months, but she does have this little quirk that is pretty funny (and only seems to apply to me for some reason).
I or someone else can be holding her, and I’ll put my face in her field of vision (not too close, about 2 feet away) and call her name. She’ll quickly look in another direction, and keep looking away no matter how many times I put my face in front of her.
I even tried holding her head with both of my hands while she was on her mom’s lap and looking at her; her eyes looked left, right, up, down, everywhere but at me! Little shit! Hope this isn’t a sign of things to come.

My 2 yr old used to do that to me when she was small. I be gone for work for a month or so & come home for a week at a time to see her & she wouldn’t let me put her down but was to mad at me to look at me, I was getting a baby guilt trip!
