Pretty disappointing bench top set. 2 Plates felt heavy today some how. I did get to play with the 150s though so I consider that a bucket list type deal until I can find bigger ones.
I probably didnt eat enough yesterday but I am adjusting the Bench program anyways. We are going linear with a ton more volume.
I was hoping that I could use the dumbells for back downs for a bit but 150s wont hold me for long and the floors are impossibly slippery to bench from at that gym. I used mats with plates in front of them and that still slipped.

Today my legs didnt give out at all. My Abs gave out, my traps and upper back gave out. Probably has everything to do with new bracing technique and all the rowing I did yesterday for Dumbell Presses.
Also my feet hurt, been a long time since I squatted until my feet hurt. LOL let the volume continue.

I was going to do the Dietician Sucks video but I went a more positive route and did the Base KIS Diet. I will probably cover the “Blasts” in the next video.
Needs a final review from wifey then I will upload it tonight and it should be up tomorrow.
Really didnt feel like lifting today but then I remember easy pull workout so I went, I did some pulling and some curls but made sure to be as lazy as possible. The only reason I did Pullups was because they were easier than Lat Pulldowns.
To give a little more context of how seriously I took my laziness the entire workout lasted 25 minutes. It takes me longer to walk there and back.
Now it is time for some HALLLLOOOOOTOOOP!!! and Legends of tomorrow marathoning. I am pretty excited about the halo top. Getting that sort of stuff down here is a big deal.
Halotop had great flavor but texture was freezer burn. I guess that is to be expected it traveling like that.
**Diet:**Clean AF…ish and the waist is coming in. I will probably use this Hypertrophy ish section of the prep to continue my cut.
Physique: Getting tighter. Waist down to 96.5cm last I checked. Weight no idea because my scale gives 4 different readings out of 5 attempts. Or a couple nights ago I weighed 97.4kg twice (didnt try 3rd) and I went to sleep, ate drank nothing but peed like 3 times and woke up at 100.3kg so yea WTF

Lighter loads than scripted. My feet hurt and everything felt heavy. I also tweaked my posterior delt somehow but other than that pretty damn healthy still.
I think that was the 3rd time ever doing Box Deads. I knew I am stronger off the floor but I hoped these would be easier on my back. They aren’t so not much sense training them IMO…wait a minute I can train them to make my back stronger…yea but then the Yates Row will suffer and I actually think that is a better lift.
**Deload WEEK: ** I am dropping my back downs and rearranging my split this week to try another split next week. I dont mind the tweaks as long as i get the work in. Back to “the Wheel Split” (stop trying to reinvent the wheel).

We gonna get Conjugated AF up in here…sort of. My second Bench day is hella light so I am going to start with Seated Dumbell OHP. My shoulders have been getting fried lately so time to bump up their work. If I like that I keep it.
CUT: Going to break up the prep with about a 3.5 week Potato Blast fueled cut. Training is pretty hypertrophyic (shut up, thats a word) so lets get our BBer on. Then Hermanito’s wedding and we are 12 Weeks out.
New Belt: I am dragging my feet but I know I need to buy one soon if I want one. I dont want to get it last minute and not be used to it. Pioneer has one I really want (rainbow equality) that would go great with some Unicorn Deadlift socks I also really want but by the time I pay for ANY 13mm belt SBD’s 13mm Lever is only a small % more for whatever reason. But then there is the issue if the SBD breaks (like it has a history of doing) then I wont have a 13mm belt for who knows how long waiting for a replacement buckle which seems to cost as much as the damn belt.
UNICORNS: I know I have mentioned this but I use the Unicorn hashtag because our family team name was democratically elected and we are the Unicorns. It has stuck for the last 5 years now. Unicorn Memes are also pretty awesome.

Thats it. Deloaded. It went decent considering walking up stairs has felt heavy this week including this morning. Not really sure what that is about but it needs to stop.
Deads I am working on using a belt. Not getting anything out of it yet other than learning to have this super annoying thing always in my way. Also all of my 2nd reps were better mainly because I didnt have to set my grip on them.
ORDERED BELT: Pioneer 13mm, blue and green. I can already feel the powwaaaaa. It should be here at 8 weeks out at the LATEST soooo accounting for being in Mexico lets say I should have it in time to start my Peak 4 weeks out. I am currently 15.5 Weeks out.
INJURIES: I have a pretty awesome streak going of no pain pills (OTC only but still) so I am pretty happy about that. Back has been pretty annoying in the AM and Hips were a bit sore today though. I remember reading an article a couple months ago that Mexico would start using Canines at the border to inspect mail and thinking this cant be good for importing de roids. Well, of my original order which was split into 2 packages I received one of those. Since there have been 3 more packages seized. I have never had a package seized before…I have had several packages not delivered due to laziness of PDC Mail service though.
That is not a Mexican thing, I have received several packages in 3 different cities with 3+ different companies including Mexican Post and ONLY did I ever (and always) have a problem in PDC.
BUUUUUT I have found another up and coming national source that hopefully is G2G. They also give discounts for bulk and I can drive 30 minutes to pick it up so here’s to hoping. With the discounts it actually is close to the cost for me to make it. I am not sure if that is reassuring or terrible but I have friends who use and sell it so.

Tap and go was fun, easier I think but hard to tell over the excruciating Delt fatigue. I started Touch n GO in hopes it helps with stretch reflex but I think it will actually work bar path/control and brace control more than anything.
I will continue smashing OHPing but at the end of Bench day.
Drug FREE SPREE…over: Pulled my hamstring some how. It didnt hurt until I stretched it the day afterwards. Buuut combine that with the Hip PIP and took a Naproxeno.
Note on PIP: when injecting 3cc dont miss the hip and inject post workout rather than pre. For me postworkout injections pretty much guarantees I will bleed but the PIP is a lot less.
PHYSIQUE: Belly was flat AF this morning and even after AM shake, shower and in a Tshirt it measured 96.5cm which is hella PR. Soooo wifey and I smashed a buffet this morning pre gym. Now back to my normal cut. Hopefully a progress photo in a few days.
OK Tonight is Hermanito’s Bachelor Party, they are Precupping here and I am bartending again…tonights menu is GARBABE CAN PUNCH!!! aka Jungle Juice or Agua Loca. Logic is that it is his last weekend of Bachelorhood and this is about as bachelory (shut up, thats a word) as it gets. I am going to try not to drink but meh to either way.
