Diet: Sub 2100 Calories This diet is the end of 2 workouts a day. My energy is pretty zapped. The progress is coming though so I am happy with that. I cant wait to start the Halo though.
Physique Update: Xmas tree is coming in but lighting and poor posing doesnt show it…glutes are making some progress too. NOW things are starting to be come lean out in the order I remember so I guess I am finally getting leanish.

OK so the last one is kind of confusing. Basically my 7 day average has dropped by 1.3kg over the last 7 days. Not sure how to say that in a less confusing manner. Dropping that 1.3kg would be way too fast but that was coming after a diet break of sorts so a lot of water. If that level of progress continues I will probably add in a bit of calories.
Physique: Is looking great. Glutes striations are starting to come in. I am a little annoyed that my waist isnt coming down much but I think that is visceral fat and will be the last to go. I remember last time getting lean there was a period that everything kind of stalled but waist just kept shrinking and kind of fast iirc.
Diet: ~2200 calories I am on the edge right now. I think I found a solution. Rice and Beans!!! It allows me to get some fast carbs in the AM with plenty of fiber. Plus beans and chicken isnt a bad meal. I can handle starving. The energy levels are killing me.

Neither of those workouts were light em up fire but both were pretty solid. Delts still bugging me a bit. They actually felt better as I got heavier. I am super excited because I think this workout will get my delts super healthy for my next PLing block.
For Legs I was just feeling it out. I rejoined Prince and for all the years that I trained there I really never used the machines. The listed Exercises are what I did actual work with but there was a few more that I just did a set or 2 to see how it felt. I am hoping this BBing stint and minimal Squatting will help get my quads healthy again. I have a feeling they wont get healthy until I get some estro in the system but I am prepared for that as well.

oops, FAIL I think my over all BF% is lower and most of my areas are either on par or better but there are some lagging parts that make this a fail.
Xmas tree and middle Lats are not as crispy.
Quads’ feathering just started coming in so it is behind.
Lower abs dont show as much when relaxed.
Wasit size is ~3cm bigger (but I am ~5kg heavier)
Overall Vascularity is better (outer left lat has 3d veins for the first time…sometimes)
The rest of my abs I think pop more when relaxed and when flexed even lower abs are better.

Diet: FUAARCKKK I can not do beans. I should have known on Saturday when I woke up not feeling like death that the calories dont exactly line up and were too high. I have had this issue with beans in the past. I am treating it like a Cut Break and Monday I will be ~2k cals. Due to the Cut Break I also snuck in a bit of post workout slin today tee hee. It was either that, sub 2000cals or a cheat meal. I thought this would be the most productive. Aside from the recovery I want to see how I look tomorrow which should be the best I have ever looked. I decided against the 2k cals because John Jewett was talking how diet breaks dont really work as just a 1 day thing so as long as I had the break I minds well go the 2nd day.

and lastly in this episode of my fat ass is eating too much: John Jewett is 6 weeks out and eating less than 2300 calories and I actually think I am leaner than him (by a smidge, once again he is 6 weeks out not supposedly 2 weeks out.) He is currently 221lbs and competes in 212. He is also ~4 inches shorter than me so not sure how that changes things. But if he is eating that much then I should probably be eating 2000 cals or less.
Uh yup this checked out. Abs were at a new level. I will get a photo if they look the same tomorrow. I am going to be only checking Abs and outer arms for progress going forward. Those are the places with the most consistent lighting and ease to check and the 2 areas I care most about so it works out. Hopefully in a another couple days I check something else and it pops.

That waist is still hella annoying. Aside from visceral fat my obliques are a bit soft on the outsides. Tomorrow’s weight should be a PR. Maybe that waist can start to come in too.
Tracking for Sanity the hardest part about suffering through shit like this is not knowing if it is working or even worse thinking you are going backwards. Tracking when I go to the bathroom this cut has helped a bunch. I also take note of when I weigh in super dehydrated. Like when I weighed 93.85kg I knew I was super dehydrated and that I would rebound a bit in weight. Then today I weighed 94.1kg but didnt go to the bathroom yesterday so I am excited because it should be a weight PR tomorrow. Having an idea why the fluctuations are happening makes it a lot easier for me.

Weight PR as predicted and my waist finally decided to join the party. I looked a LOT better yesterday though. Pretty sure I will carb up with Slin day before.
A slightly smarter Approach: So I have been trying to eat 2000 calories then getting ran into the ground and doing a couple of higher days. The average calorie intake is 2400 and the weight has kept coming off at 1kg per week. I am going to go to 2400-2500 calories a day so I dont suffer so much on my low days. I think I will actually burn more calories this way because my training will be that much better and I will probably be able to do cardio in the evening.

Eric’s new Coach and much cleaner diet has him looking insanely better than before his warmup show 2 weeks ago. He is only 5lbs lighter before carbing up than before the warm up but he looks so much harder. Now obv we dont know if they tweaked drugs or what not but the clean diet seems to be superior a bit. In before his new coach tells him not to become a fat ass in the offseason LOL

DIET: ~2400 calories Pretty easy today. Appetite was shit today so I didnt force feed. Its 530 and I have 1k calories to spare…a cheat meal went through my head but that is a slippery spiral at this stage in the game, for me anyways.
WE HAVE A DATE: Friday the 7th of June I will be taking a bunch of photos and that Friday I get my BF% tested. Mentally I need an end date but for the next 9 days we gonna go hard AF!!!

No, dropped it out ~3 Weeks ago. It is semi standard practice for a BBing peak (everything is person dependent of course). I think it might have been a mistake but I knew I needed to try it at least once. At the end of the day I just dont think I am lean enough to warrant dropping the Test. Next time I will switch to Prop 4 weeks out so I can keep Test in longer and still drop it later.

Disheartened: I had originally planned to run this cut until the job was done but I am pretty over it. I am so over this cut is because I am realizing when/if I get there I am not going to look great either. I randomly found the below video below and that helps a ton. I was already addressing the training issues for my future training (and current actually…I mean oblique side bends?) and I already knew my genetics are shit for getting lean (who cant function below 3k cals and 20% BF???) but it helps to hear somebody else letting me off the hook. Having said all that once again I learned a shit ton on this cut about EVERYTHING!!! and I will do this again, just better. The future plan is already written out addressing all of my short comings…or as many that I know about. Mainly training and diet.

Weight loss looks like it slowed down but I added fiber back in today so I think some rapid weight loss will happen over the next couple days. Physique changes seem to have stopped though so that isnt fun.
Diet: POTATO BLAST IS BACK I havent been eating some of my older cut staples and tbh better cut options (mainly potatoes and veggies) because quite frankly I got really sick of them. Well I scored some low calorie sauces so all that is back on the table. Potato Blast starts tomorrow. In perfect time too.
6 Days Out So happy I survived today. No more cardio or 2 a days until Monday and Tuesday. No more fish ever. Then Wednesday and Thursday I increase calories to 3k and all the carbs. It will be glorious.

VERY happy with those numbers. Waist came in and rest of numbers same as yesterday but I still hadnt gone to the bathroom when those were taken. Tomorrow some numbers should move again. All puns intended.
Diet: ~2600 Cals I am kind of starting to reverse diet it seems. This is kind of a controlled meltdown. I am still well into a deficit as I just calclulated my TDEE over the last week based on lost and average calories and my TDEE should be about 3500. Oh yea, my shit is getting next level mathematical up in here. Making this a numbers game makes this sooooo much easier on me.
Now you are thinking what good is all this if you cant break through anyways. Because all this makes it sooooo much easier to eat a LOT more while still losing at an acceptable rate. When I was losing I would lose at 1+kg a week. The meltdown/freak out do a diet break and then go back to losing 1+kg a week repeat. Now for the whole 10 Week cut (this is week 9) I have lost ~6kg which is about perfect. But if I had planned my calories better I could have lost more while preserving energy levels, muscle mass and sanity better. Like I mentioned, I learned a shit ton about this shit. Actually I think I learned how to implement it. I always knew the TDEE and how many calories to lose a kg etc but never even attempted to implement it.
The BF test I will have a good reference point so I can grow but stay with in a desired BF% and just have a better idea of everything. After every cut I have stayed leaner each time but never before have I tracked like I am going to. Basically I track weight and if my belt shrank. (Stupid randomly shrinking belts.) Those AM stats are just the beginning.
