Cause screw you Einstein!

Shut the fuck up.

Serves him right for adding to Newton.

He didn’t add to newton, he replaced him.

Neutrino is currently at 500:1 against.

Place your bets gentlemen!

My absolute retard uninformed just-saying-forshits-and-giggles is that since the neutrino was taravelling at the speed of light it may have had relatavistic effects that made it only seem like it came in 50 nanoseconds faster than the 2.99792458 X 10^8 m/s it was compared to.

I’d think they ran the same setup with photons to verify.

Yeah, they’re only the top physicists in the world. I’m sure in their 15,000+ trials it never occurred to them to check that. It’s not like they took into account continental drift, or stopped traffic through a tunnel to calibrate their machines, and have spent years analyzing and re-working their data.

(love you, nards)

But seriously, there’s a ton that’s incredibly interesting about this if it’s true.

If anyone wants to join me, tonight I will be undertaking a leprechaun hunt.

The rules don’t apply anymore, so I want my pot of gold, dammit.

this just in: twenty scientists at the Fermilab were found slaughtered and decapitated, with “E=mc2 fo lyfe” written on the walls with their blood.

I can smell a Da Vinci Code-esque book and movie brewing starring Adrien Brody as the protagonist and Gary Oldman as a crazed immortal Einstein bent on preserving his physics lab street cred.
