Frustrated with Labs! HELP!

I still think you need to get a re-test.

Gonna try and get that tommorrow

K good. Youre killing me with that pic!

Just had blood drawn this morning for E. That picture was 22 pounds ago…LOL

Hahaha, it’s the indoor sunglasses I think.

New labs, blood draw yesterday, results today:

Serum Estradiol- None Detected (0-56)

Now what? Did Adex kill my entire Estrogen levels. How long should I wait to get them back to 22. Should i then start on Aromasin? Erections are sucking and so is the gym right now. No wonder my test level was 1300 on 100mgs a week!

Low E can increase FT, not much effect on TT.

See if you can find out what the lab has for its lower reporting limit. For some labs they would report <7 even if the range is shown as [0-nn]. Can you tell who the lab was? With Labcorp we sometimes see such results from lab errors.

You have had 3 E2 labs done, two show zero. Were all three done by the same lab?

If you are an anastrozole over responder you need to stop for 6 days to wash out, then resume at 0.25mg/week in divided doses. I know that one guy had to drop to 1/8th mg/week.

So you were taking 0.25mg anastrozole E3D? That is only 0.6mg/week.

I agree-cut out the anastrazole! Low E sucks just as bad as low T!

[0-56] does not look like LabCorp, or at least it is the wrong test
You should be using " Test Number: 004515 CPT Code: 82670 "
Reference Interval: Adult male: 7.6-42.6 pg/mL

All three test done at the same place and sent to Lab Corp. Thats correct was doseing Adex at 0.5mg/week.

So do i just wait 6 days. How far will it jump up in 6 days? Maybe the liquid Adex Im using is overdosed?

Never had erection problems with test levels like this?

Still appears to be the wrong lab test.

Could be the adex or could be you. PM me with product info.

How can I tell what the test is? It says Estradiol Serum. Thay have all said the same thing. Man this is frustrating!!

The LabCorp test that we mostly know has a range of 7.6-42.6 pg/mL

Ask your doc if " Test Number: 004515 CPT Code: 82670 "

Mine just says “estradiol”…no Estradiol Serum.

Doesnt serum just mean blood?

You guys are right the last 2 that show None Detected are ranges 0-56

The other test that shows 32.3 shows a range of 7.6-42.6 pg/ml

Also it just says Estradiol not serum like the other two. Now what? To much E or not enuff? Another blood test?

Cant we come to the conlusion that my E is way to low whether its Estradiol Serum or Estradiol? Its all E2 right?

You can at least diagnostically try it. If E is too low, then you will have erection problems no matter how high your testosterone is. Estradiol is imperative for healthy erection strength. I would say to quit taking the arimidex for at least 2x the half life, whatever that is, and then see if you get better. You will probably feel good for a couple of days as you ascend through the sweet spot. Then adjust your dose accordingly. You are probably as KSMan says, an over responder, so I would take that dose and do like 25% of whatever it was and see if that works.

Serum means blood levels in this context. Stating “serum E2” is one way of explicitly stating that this is a blood test, not a saliva test, not a urine test.

See if you can get the doc and lab to get the right test performed. I have no idea what they did.

So it say Estradiol Serum (E2) and none detected and its a blood test means nothing?
