I pimped my WASR10 with Krebs Ghost ring sight, TAPCO galil style HG, and a stainless steel heat shield. I also painted the front sight post neon green and I am replacing the buttplate with a stock wxtender.

Exactly, AKs are often considered “idiot guns”. In many armies across the globe, soldiers aren’t very well trained AKs are great at point that way and shoot, espcially with poorly trained troops.
Think Africa here were soldiers are often forced into soldiering. however, they’re a lot less accurate and stopping power means nothing if you miss.
Also, your standard M4 will require some cleaning and maintenance as opposed to an AK, which is fine if you’re an uneducated clown in the third world. For a serious soldier, cleaning isn’t an issue.
Also, many forces now use the AK74, which is closer to the .223 in power. If you want real stopping power, get an M14, accurate and fires a full size 308. Or get an M1 Garand, which fires a 30 06.
