I went ahead and tried this at the Texas State Fair this year. It was too weird to skip. Then, after a few bites, I wish I had. Out of four of us, none of us liked it.
Think uncoated donuts dipped in flat soda. Makes me nauseous thinking about it…
I also got to taste a fried praline. Which reminded me of pecan pie. A small piece of it was more than enough.
Wow.
I bet that tastes about as good as boiled peanuts.
Well, at least they’re bringing out fried diet coke. I’m sure that will go really well with fat free fries and a tripple whopper.
