Frenchie's Killer Queen Log

whole heartedly agree with the rest—you look glorious now compared to then. you were cute of course, but you have so much more vitality and life in your features now–much better.

i like frenchie2011 :)!

Gah… UTIs are no fun. Hope you kick it soon!

phoned my Mom today and got my ass handed to me cause I did not see doctor earlier. So I was a good girl today and got the meds. Doc says to relax for a few days, and no lifting of course. says the bad fever was due to the infection reaching my kidneys. sounds worse than it is. I just got to lay low for a few days.

Ink - my heart goes out to little Miss :frowning:

now to tease myself with tales of lifting success from the logs

I TOLD YOU TO SEE THE DOCTOR DAMN IT!

grrrrr.

Next time, no cranberries, K?!?!?

P.S. I am a UTI veteran and they hit me hard, so I treat them with much respect.

Definitely glad that you went to the doc and got the drugs. Feel better Frenchie!

But… don’t dis the cranberries says the lady w/a $7500 health insurance deductible. They’ve helped me out in times of need. Not a substitute for antibiotics, but useful.

Looks like I’m a little late to the party here, but a few things…

Congrats on the meet! Onward and upward. You’ll be doing those weights you missed as openers in no time.

I think a lot of women have struggled with their weight. At one point in college I weighed 110lbs too. I had come down from 140+ and still thought I needed to lose. Now I can’t imagine being that tiny.

And finally, feel better, lady! That UTI sounds brutal!

That so sucks. Take care of yourself and try not to let it go for that long again. Kidney infections can go really bad really soon. I am glad you got your meds and I hope you feel better soon

I’ve had UTIs - I used to suffer from them all the time (one of the reasons I go commando now - since I ditched underwear I haven’t had one). So yeah, I feel your pain. Take it easy and lots of fluids. But you know that.

Cal is full time commando?

Feel better Frenchie!! You did an awesome job at the match, the body needs rests - that’s for sure.

Bises!

I’m asking to feel a lot more than the biceps ;D

I’m glad your mom talked some sense into you and you went to the doc. Get better soon <3

Ugh, UTI’s must suck really bad. My Little Miss has had so many of them because of some reflux thing where her pee can sometimes backflow into her kidneys a little bit. Sad times.

Hope you get better soon N, back to smashing weights, and LWI![/quote]

Ink - One of my girls had this. They called it a grade IV reflux. She had her first UTI at 1 month old and it turned into a week in the hospital. Had to take preventative antibiotics until she was 2 years, and old enough to have surgery. Sorry, I don’t know if lil miss is your GF, wife, of daughter. Some of these do heal on their own. Sounds like you’ve already got the scoop but she needs to to see a good nephrologist if not. Chronic UTIs are bad, bad news and in kids they are sometimes asymptomatic.

Do I need to come up there and make you southern home cooking?

Take care of your self frenchie.

Little Miss is my youngest

Check your PM’s

Frenchie-Keep killing it! Hope you’re feeling 10000%

It’s been a few days on the antibiotics by now. Feeling better?

Thanks for the well-wishes everyone and Joe I would def LUVE some southern cooking.

Want to hear something that’s pretty funny? Once I got the meds for the UTI, I started a nasty feverish nose-blowing cold. So everytime I sneeze, I pee my pants. I feel like the joke of the universe right now.

yes Bear I’m a big wussy so I’ll go back to hybernating in my cave of blankies and kleenexes until spring.

Take it easy and hope you feel much better soon.
