So, to get rid of your ā€œissueā€ you EAT the cranberries…right?

funny :stuck_out_tongue:

yes I eat them, they are known to have antibacterial properties particularly helpfull against UTI’s. but don’t get the cocktail crap. You need major high dosage. Think handfulls of cranberries or the pure unsweetened juices you can p/u in the organic sections.

I was JUST biting into a chicken burrito when I read that, and launched chicken onto my desk. Thanks, ass!

Great Job Mainie!

You’re a sexy beast~

decided to throw up the evolution of Frenchie as I reminder of where I came from

Here I am at 20, a bubble head convinced that beauty was relative to the number on the scale. stupid young frenchie. I’m 5’5 weighing at most 110lbs of bone and skin and convinced that I am still fat.

I like the new stong, confident you. Very, very schmexy.
But I would still tackle the 20 yr old you right into those bushes

So much fucking awesome!

and then metabolic whiplash as I gained 40lbs.

So sorry about the UTI. I think we all suffer a bit after meets in our own way. I tend to suffer more emotional angst and mental exhaustion, but everyone feels beat up to some degree after a meet.

I will say that being in a squat suit, knee wraps, bench shirt, and DL suit trying to hit maxes in all three lifts in one day results in a host of unpleasantries and aches and pains.

Hang tough and ride out that high for a little longer!

Yep, I know all about this. Only antibiotics help me, so if the cranberries aren’t doing it don’t wait too long before seeing the doc.

Hopefully tomorrow will be easier. I’ll bet you bounce back quickly.

I forgot to include that the more times I see your beautiful smile, all the better!

you at 20 years/110lbs is fuckable. you at 150ish lbs and strong is bite nibble nom savor and stay for breakfast worthy.

i’m sure there’s a more eloquent way to say it, i just don’t care. all the good writing goes to school papers.

Congrats on the meet! Awesome job!! And hope you’re feeling better soon!

I agree with Cbear.

I’m not surprised that there is mental / physical collapse after a meet with all the nervous energy and hype of the build up together with the physical slamming that the body takes with 9 max efforts.

good to hear that people learn to minimize its impact over time. hope you feel more like your old self soon.

so glad to hear that you had a good time. really enjoyed the pics. grrr face is awesome!

Been there, done that, have the t-shirt! I was 5’7 and weighed 115 when I graduated high school and thought I needed to lose weight…or at least have it redistributed (from my belly to my boobs). There’s a pic of me at senior prom on FB that people have commented looks like a Holocaust survivor, or at least am/was anorexic/bulemic.

I’m all bounced back! (insert Tigger bounce) I was thinking of when to plan this week’s workout while taking my shower. I am especially busy so I won’t be hitting the gym before saturday. I’m taking this as a sign to keep chillaxing for a bit.

Git - I wouldn’t blame you but 20yr old Frenchie had way too many issues. Wrapped up in her belly button she was. Perhaps like many of that age.

Kimba - I’m already on the mend. frozen raw cranberries, vit C, probiotics and plenty of water for the win.

Snap - I’m sporting a smile today. I know the 2 days after would hurt but it’s one thing to know and another to live it.

Bear - my post was in response to some people who were saying they would dump their partners if they gained any weight. I just wanted to show what can happen in 10 yrs. Life happens and we learn to deal with it basically.

Lanels- thank you

alexus - I agree grrr face is awesome. It’s my fav.

Greenies - my posts were in celebration of where I am at today 10yrs later. I’ll take my nice rounded butt over insecure anxiety-filled pancake anyday.

Have a nice day everyone!
