Megyn Kelly says they don’t call the left nazi’s, after se. cohen calls the right nazi’s.

John Stewart finds clips of them referring the left as nazi’s.

That is why he is on comedy central. there is a difference between a politician on the floor making that statement and a news commentator. But even further, there is hypocrisy on all news stations, that is why you look into the stories for yourself.
Rush , Beck and Palin belong on comedy central , but first they would need a sense of humor

It’s not obvious to a lot of people. Many believe that their party (republican or democrat) is basically guiltless, and only the other side are hypocrites.
People are people, we are all fallible.

that is why we need decentralized power in order keep things balanced and honest. that is how the country was founded and it worked very well, until we allowed elitist to run the government and centralize their power.

I am sure Juan Williams would agree.

These people are known as zealots, and if you listen to them, please lobotomize yourself.

They never called Juan William a nazi.

Besides, there were repurcussions for that.

Fox news just shrugs that shit off and keeps being retarded.

Yeah, I saw that bit on Jon Stewart too. The one time I watched him in probably a year. He didn’t disappoint. He did one joke on one democrat and then immediately did aout 15-20 minutes on that Nazi bit. What he didn’t show you was all of the times the left accused the right of being Nazi’s. By the way I wonder if it’s bad accusing one side or the other of being Nazi like? Especially if it’s true.

By the way when you get your news from a comedian you look like an inexperienced child. But we know that you’re not, so stop acting like one.

Thank you.
Don’t worry big guy, I don’t consider it news. It’s just commentary, albeit hilarious commentary to me.
Commentary from a comedian which may or may not be true. He is after all a comedian. You know, he plays to his audience…for laughs.

You’re right, he got fired for saying even less than that. And who came to defend him, Fox News. Damn those racist crackers, they went to the defense of a black man.

Those repercussions came only because people bitched and moaned enough, not because of integrity within the company.

What do you mean by “commentary…which may or may not be true”? Are you calling into question the clips he uses, which are obviously true? Are you saying he makes false statements? Or do you just not like the commentary?

Comedians never make false statements. It was so cold out the other day that Starbucks was serving coffee on a stick…Yeah they really were I wasn’t trying to make a joke it’s true and I can show you a picture to back it up.

(Yawn)

He’s a COMEDIAN.

A comedian who makes his living attacking the right.

You take it from there you’re a big boy.

It’s also pretty shitty how they try to pass themselves off as a “regular” radio station when all they do is schill for the left. The sooner the republicans cut off funding them the the better.

Why just today on NPR I heard responses to the state of the union from republican and democratic representatives. People called in to ‘Talk of the Nation’ and ‘On point’ with opposing political viewpoints. It was just like every other day.

‘All things considered’ featured the viewpoints of 2 small business owners who rated the presidents speech as F and D respectively.

Maybe there is a liberal bias on NPR but its more akin to the conservative bias of the WSJ than the true ‘schillery’ of MSNBC.

NPR has good journalists.

You didn’t actually make any clear points or answer any questions here. I really have no idea what you’re trying to say.

I mean, no shit he’s a comedian. It doesn’t preclude him from making a relevant point. He simply showed how retarded fox looked when they tried to act as if they couldn’t fathom someone making a nazi reference. He also pointed out what kind of “news anchor” megyn kelly is, although I don’t think that was ever in question

Really, I don’t get your angle here.

I hear the same stuff all the time. It is not at all rare to have good interviews with republicans or to have callers with dissenting opinions. Most of their stuff is solid. And for comedy, there really isn’t much that’s funnier than “wait wait don’t tell me”. I mean, that shit is hilarious. If you can’t enjoy that program then I don’t know if there’s help for you.

I would argue that at least Megyn Kelly has her law degree, which makes her more credible when talking politics.

Stewart will get a laugh, he is a funny guy. But I would prefer to take his material as satirical way before I would take it serious.
siouxperman wrote:

One final time: Things can be brought together to make people laugh which are not necessarily, or perhaps only partially true. Or perhaps only one side of the picture is shown. Stewart’s goal is to make people laugh…(mostly)at the republican party and in this case FOX news which schills for the republican party. And since we know that Stewart is a schill for the democratic party it would not be a stretch to assume that he brought each snippet together in a certain way, omiting other important facts in order to embarrass FOX news.

This is what he and his staff do, they’re good at it. They make a great deal of money appealing to the left leaning 20 something demographic. You like what he said as you are part of his audience. But simply because you liked it and agree with his politics does not make it wholly accurate.

I hope this clarify’s any questions you may have had as to where I stand on the topic. You like Stewart, go enjoy him, but don’t hang your hat on his every word - He’s a comedian with an agenda and an audience of people just like you he has to stoke.

This is true, he has cut Bill’s segments and made him say things he didn’t say by removing the context before and after.

This was not done by stewart but watch how easy it is.

Looks pretty damning doesn’t it.

But when taken in full context shows something much different.

Only fair to illustrate actual examples of where he has intentionally used half truths or lies to make his point, ya know since in the Glenn Beck thread that was SO needed to validate someone’s opinion on Beck otherwise they were just blowharding it.

“You like Stewart, go enjoy him, but don’t hang your hat on his every word - He’s a comedian with an agenda and an audience of people just like you he has to stoke.”

Substitue Beck for Stewart and you’ve got the converse view nailed.

Anyone got the clip where Fox went after the Tea Party by calling them loons and Fox responded by saying they never called the anti-war left lunatics. Stewart posted a video where they “did” and O’Reilly showed the full clip saying they called the ones who where causing violence and got arrested lunatics.

Tried to find it on youtube but couldn’t.

It was after this segment that I stopped watching Stewart.

If anyone can find the video that would be great. If not you can believe me if you want but anyone who watches the Factor knows what I am talking about.
