People have been crying that over population will destroy the human race/earth/reality as we know it for quite a long time now. Quite a long time.
We’ve adapted and over come each time.
I’m not too worried about it.
Yup.
Nope. There is no reason to say we will adapt this time. This is the optimism of someone ignorant who doesnt want to worry.
My view that is the world right now is like a cell culture that reached its maximum concentration. They multiply exponentially until metabolic byproducts become toxic for the culture and cells begin to die. The toxic byproducts for us would be the media and the non-stop attacks on our mental space, pollution (heavy metals accumulation, pesticide, etc), overcrowdiness and of course a lack of ressource (substrate). Unlike for the cell cultures we cant change the culture medium and we cant mutate and evolve quickly like them.
OP: please abort. Instead why not adopt a baby of uncaring people from a third world country. Who cares if the baby is not as ugly as you and your girlfriend.

Agreed with the lol.
I love how current internet debate is:
If someone disagrees with me, they must be ignorant. And I’ll follow that up with a bunch of opinion.

Lol, I forgot about that one.
I imagine our young friend has read Dan Brown’s most recent book (very entertaining by the way), but is of course fiction.
Well, so far I have survived global cooling and the impending global ice age, the Cold War, Y2K, SARS, the swine flu and Sex and the City.
