Forum Leaning Towards Going to Hell

I too logged on to learn. Learn I did, and now I have the privilege of being ‘wise’ enough to help others.

That has to mean something to you FG, or you wouldn’t have taken the time and effort to create your thread.

SO I know you like to help others.

Hold onto that thought as you wade through the BS. Not every thread can be a nugget of gold. Most are just ‘the same old, same old’ and some are piles of turd. But that’s the same in any walk of life. You have to put up with the mundane and the repetitive to be able to appreciate the good things.

You can learn to ignore the crap. You just have to develop your inner monkey so that you can just chuckle and shake your head at stupidity, rather than getting frustrated. People (including me, most certainly) will ALWAYS be stupid in certain aspects of their life. It’s nice to be able to help them get over that stupidity or ignorance.

Something else that is worth remembering is that you only get out what you put in. Now you have put in quite a lot, granted, but for me, it’s more a case of ‘dripfeeding’ rather than intense effort. A little bit every day, rather than a lot, all at once.

In short, I would say “Persevere, my friend, because there are plenty who need your help”

Perfect words at the perfect time.
The above statement is exactly why I am staying; with firmly planted feet.
Well Done Bushy Well Done
bushidobadboy wrote:

Whilst I appreciate the kind words, I need to point out a huge irony.

If this were the real world and not an internet forum, I would have got pissed off and left, ages ago.

However, some aspect of my personality ‘meshes’ with the internet world, granting me patience and persistence.

So don’t praise me too highly, because I’m definitely no saint.

Bushy
Maybe not a saint, but if all the help you give me is anything to go by, then your personality has nothing wrong with it

There is one thing RJ said that does make a lot of sense. I was lucky to find out first hand a while ago.

Due to frustrations and a tad bit of anger that arose from the frustration, I was turing into a Class A jerk. That’s when I started to shut the hell up.

I enjoy EE and JJ’s posts. It gives this place a locker room feel. Life is full of seriousness. Sometimes, we need a break from that - even here where we chat about serious drugs.

I learn loads of stuff from Furious, bushy, saps, lillguy001… just to name a few. But I try to limit my posts to staying on point and in an attempt to forward the learning process.

I am doing my part to stop the downward spiral of this forum. I’ve been shutting the hell up for a while now.

The best part of this forum is the people. That’s the only reason I’m still here. RJ is a resource none of us should want to get rid of. In fact, for entertainment purposes, he is quite the character. Indespensable. Like all of us.

There are other boards out there. Some even with IFBB pros and Doctors that interact with regular Joe’s, too. Not too shabby, if you ask me. But the people. You people here are the creme de la creme. It would be wise to start treating each other like this.

Perhaps you guys are right…i will give it another chance.

I’m gonna be honest with you guys…I keep trying to find a reason to log on here and I am running out of excuses. I have been coming here for 8 years. Maybe it is just time to move on to something new.

I thought the problem was all the newb posts so I made the cycle thread in hopes to help educate people on the basics, raise the overall level of intelligence, and get some intelligent discussion going. I don’t think it did anything but move the other posts down by a line.

This is a sad day…

The reason this site has so many noobs is it’s the best damn weightlifting/steroids site there is. If there’s another site out there that comes close somebody tell me I need to check it out. There’s an influx of noobs as more and more people learn of T-Nation and that there’s more to weightlifting than bicep curls and chest flies. People come here and start learning about real weightlifting and they want more. It’s just growing that’s all, and that means more people buying Biotest supplements, reading the articles and supporting the site. Maybe we just need a notice when someone signs up for a new account that if you don’t know shit and you know it take a few years to silently learn from the pros before offering their own advice, instead of polluting the forums with meaningless posts. And pros need to be just a little understanding, maybe a noob has a question he just can’t find the answer to anywhere else.

Great post. And the last ten or so have all been great.
Much better than what I dribbled out of my mouth about the situation.

Similar to what Kroby said quite eloquently, I probably need to shut the fuck up for a good long while. I’ve been doing stupid things not just here but at home too with in-laws etc. Taking things overboard and out of context with a fever pitch lately.

Honestly I don’t know wtf is going on with myself lately, but somehow I think the shoulder issue is wreaking havoc with my thinking and reason.

I would apologize to RJ if I thought it would mean anything to him even. But I think that welcome is worn out, lol.

I’m not out for a pity party, just trying to be as real as I can with this place, which is what I always try to do.

I agree… when i left for 22 hours… i logged into a few forums. One in particular was Muscle Talk, a Brit one… friendlier than this harshly policed site i might add!

I found that within 1 day of posting i was becoming one of the most knowledgeable posters there… sorry, but that is kinda sad!

As much as like to help out - I am not anywhere in sight of a point where i can rest on my laurels barking orders (like a REAL vet ;p hehe!). I am here to learn - i can help out with some of the ‘workload’ there is on a site like this, replying to my share of PM’s helping the vets to some minor degree, but i am here to learn and chat to like minded individuals - this place has a high standard, and i like being challenged by the level of knowledge alot of my friends possess.

No doubt.

God I love T-Nation!!

This forum is way better off with RJ in it btw. He’s helped me a lot.

What the hell just happened here? I missed this thread when it started apparently but when did everyone start hating each other?

I’m not a vet as you all know, more of the longest running beginner so take this for what it’s worth.

What I have just read through here is people getting all worked up over things that probably don’t bother them that much. It reminds me of when I see clients split up amicably but then someone else starts things(usually a family member), and both of the parties end up spending $100K on lawyers and years of their life in court over things that never really mattered to them in the first place.

Besides, I thought we dealt with this months back and just decided to ignore the trolls and the threads that sucked?

Sorry to stick my nose in on this but I am sleepy, hungry, and just a tad bit baffled over the uproar.

As stated on another thread… I’m not sure what other forums you guys have attended but there are more knowledgable one’s elsewhere.

My favourites;

AFboard, OutlawMuscle, and ProfessionalMuscle

Mediocre;

Mesomorphosis, Steroidology, CanadaBodybuilding, and Anabolex

Crap;

EliteFitness, Bodybuilding.com, and Steroid.com

I’m sure there’s many more that I’m missing.

Why I am lumped into the same category as someone who comes in and starts slinging shit in my face?

If someone doesn’t like the topic, that’s fine. Do we, that are interested in the topic, have to put up with shit slinging again and again for no reason other than someone doesn’t like you? Because that’s what it is.

If he could have said what he said without tossing in derogatory remarks and all that shit at me, then I can deal with that like a big boy. But it doesn’t go like that. It’s all about talking shit for the sake of what? Just to talk shit.

I make mistakes and I always admit it right out in the open.
I’ve never outright claimed to be a vet. I’ve always been cool with people. How would you like someone talking to you like that ZZ? It’s been started on a few other threads, and like I told him on the tcell thread, I respected him and never had a bad word to say about him for a long fucking time.

When he started dropping snippet after snippet on a few of my threads that were going well with other people and discussion going good, well wtf? Ya get tired of it. That’s what. The thread gets all fucked up and the interest becomes lost in all the hoopla.

I apologized to JJ, and the other guy that I had mentioned.

I said I didn’t word it right, yet there was something to what I had said as far as the subject matter being trivialized a little. There were people who agreed with me, on the thread and via pm etc.

Tone, I was not singling you out in any way. I’m not sure why you thought I was directing anything towards you. All I was saying is that I was a bit stunned over all the hatred that was coming from all directions throughout the thread. I just hadn’t seen any of the bad blood that obviously exists between people and apparently has for some time.

Again, my post wasn’t about you, more about the general vibe I got from reading the last couple of pages. Sorry if it came off another way, not my intention.

No ZZ, you don’t deserve the anger that I’ve been feeling as a result of this shit, and I’m sorry.

Just when you said everyone etc, in reference. I’m not trying to be some self important prick. I’m fucking pissed off at the bullshit.

I apologize to you.

Ya the main 2 i use are this and ProMuscle - for pure BB it is pro muscle, but i think there is more intellect here for pharmacological interest… at ProMus it is much more a subjective view as to AAS results and effect. Here it is subjective AND objective IMO…

But i like PM for the pure BB info… on there.

MesoRX + Ology i use for their articles - meso in particular has excellent article database on drugs… something that is missing at Testosterone, although the trainming knowledge is great here.

I have been a lurker for a long time reading, learning, and appreciating. I can for the most part say that I like dam near all the people contributing in this forum and elsewhere except for one and only one member: InTheZone. My disgust as grown so hostile that I can no longer read any of your posts. I quickly scroll past your post when I see your avatar.

Incessant ramblings do indeed describe your posts the best. And to be fair, while there are some others that may appear to need some restraint, you are actually the one that drives me completely and utterly insane.

Please for the love of this site, look within and find some restraint of your own.

Right and you have one post still correct? And never ordered anything from the place? Sorry I call bullshit.
You’re simply RJ or one of his cronies trying to shit on my name again. Go have a hot dog and milk.

I’ve put my final thoughts about dearest rainjack in the t cell thread about the scam for all to see. You should have a look at that and try something not so obvious next time, as this pathetic attempt to talk shit and defame my character. What a loser. And yeah, I’m out of here though now.

I would also like to add, in all sincerity to help, that you call your father at this very moment and tell him how sorry you are for the hell you justified on him.
