I forgot to put my humatrope vial last night in fridge after having my dose, so it stayed in dark room for about 7 hours, at about 25 celcius (77F), the packaging says it should be kept at (36° to 46° F [2° to 8° C]) before/after its mixed,
Any opinion about losing its potency?
I have always been told it takes 24 hours for it to become useless once it’s been mixed. I don’t think it’s going to hurt you to inject it even if it did lose a little bit of its potency.
Yes I’m just concerned about the bacteria that grows in it. Not sure if the diluent that comes with it is bacteriostatic or sterile water…
It stays ‘The diluent contains Water for Injection with 0.3% metacresol as a preservative and 1.7% glycerin’ , so I think there’s a fine chance it will be fine.
