Here is an posting from a legendary fly rod builder.
He is on his way out and is trying to sell some great handmade fly rods.
He is also looking to sell his business and would probably train you in his craft if you are interested in purchasing it.
Just a thought. He’s a good guy. You never know.

That is very interesting. I build rods, but none of legendery status. Very castable and fishable, but not legendery.
A few friends of mine bought The Hook and Hackle Company a couple of years ago and moved it from Plattsburg NY. to Homestead Pa. It sounds very much like he uses their blanks.
They are usualy very well informed about things like this. I’m going to have to give them a holler and see what is up with Mr Betters.
