The bowl you saw in the first picture was € 8. There is also a € 10 and a € 12, which have you pick 2 and 3 protein types/portions respectively, plus more choice for greens and toppings.
I’d say the price is reasonable. I don’t have elements for comparison, as this is the first poke bowl place I’ve visited, but the protein sources can be pretty expensive, so I don’t feel like they’re overpricing them too much.
Yesterday’s post workout dinner. Rice, beans, ground beef, and a bit of low carb chili sauce. As simple as it gets. Tasty as hell, and so easy to get down even huge quantities of.
I am a midget and am about 70 at heart, so what can you expect
In any case, it certainly looks better than the silkie chicken I roasted last week (even more delicious by the way
Saw this technique in a Netflix show last night (Nadiya’s Time to Eat). Wanted to give it a go this morning. Egg wrap with jalapenos, cheddar, and bacon.
Eggs 'n stuff in pan (cooked in bacon fat):
Slap tortilla on top, give it a squish and squiggle:
Ordinarily not something I’d consider food porn but after making four mountain peaks in two days this, contextually, is porn. I’ve walked 37k steps today and that includes two peaks as well as making it back to civilization, narrowly catching a 5hr bus back by skidding down rock too steep to walk down and making it back home in time for a late-late dinner.
Yep. Eggs stayed really fluffy. Would’ve liked a little more crunch to the tortilla, so I might cook it longer after flipping, but that’d make it a little more tricky to wrap without breaking.
The template and setup is obviously versatile, too. I’ll probably play around with seeing how much filling it can handle until it becomes unwieldy. Also plan on batch prepping a few at a time for the fridge.
Did this Saturday. Should have taken a pic. Basically sausage, home fries with onion and bell pepper and some jalapeno. I added some muenster cheese then the tortilla. It was fantastic but pretty basic not much to it. I’ll try it one day when I’m half awake before work and see if I can pull it off.
Also I used about 5 large eggs. Wrapping is out of the question at that point but folding it like a taco worked.
