Food Porn Thread

I’m a foodie. This becomes a problem when I’m cutting, like I am now. I can stick with hard diets for however long it takes, but man is it hard. I’m 2 days into the cut and I’m already missing all the good food.

That said, I always try and make my food taste good even when dieting.

Beef with mozzarella cheese and tomatoes cooked in olive oil and browned garlic.

This was today’s dinner. Tomatoes are my favorite veggies, plus I love meat and cheese, and this meal just tasted GOOD.

I’ll stick to meals like this as well as salads with tuna and salmon. These should make the cut easier as I like the taste (probably better than I do chicken beast with broccoli).

You’re one of those guys, huh? Tomatoes don’t identify as a veggie.

Are you back in PDX? That looks like it could be Tusk.

I know Chris, I know. And strawberries aren’t a fruit either.

It’s okay homie, it’s okay.

Thank god for interns. On the company’s dime because it’s our interns last day on Friday.

Believe it or not, those were in Tampa!

I’ll be back in PDX next week, I plan to eat a few solid meals while I’m there

Any recommendations other than tusk? I have a friend who works at Roe; might give that a go…

Check out D.O.C. If you get a chance… 3 tasting menus later and I still think it’s the best bang for your buck.

Looks like it didn’t disappoint.

If you want a large steak Urban Farmer is amazing. Its a cool location, in an atrium. It’s across from Pioneer Square, in the Nines Hotel. On the top floor is Departure, which has great views and pretty good food.

The one in west newton. My niece who is a starving artist actress works there as one of her 50 gigs. The comedy acts are great. This weekend was free admission for kids.

Got to cook a bit. Balsamic chicken thighs with caprese salad. Wife chose the recipe. I may have ruined the reduction that was supposed to go on the strawberry caprese. But we won’t talk about that.
