If so, love that stuff. Great sitting down after a nice meal smoke too.

We mostly shop at Costco and aldi. I think we got it at aldi, smaller bags. Brand wrapper is long gone. I was so hungry tonight I may have eaten the wrapper too.

950g beef and pork, 50g bread, 3 eggs, smoked bacon and smoked cheese. My girlfriend is awesome!

Hello everybody! It’s been a busy few weeks since I last stopped-by. Here-goes:


Charcuterie plate (son’s bday party)

Left to right: grilled zucchini, sautéed shiitakes with cognac, caramelized onions, grilled pork tenderloin slices. This was part of the sandwich station at my sons bday party.

Top to bottom: grilled asparagus, filet mignon, sautéed gulf snapper, zuchini noodles (zoodles!) with mornay sauce.
roasted fennel with Parmesan.

Seared scallops topped with scallop ceviche, radishes, cucumber, and cilantro, in a chilled tomatillo-habanero sauce with garlic oil.

And now for a few pics of food that I did not prepare:

surf and turf; filet and lobster.
hamachi crudo with fresh coconut and avocado sorbet.
marinated Japanese eggplant with miso and mayo-duo.
tomato brûlée with baba ganoush, buffalo mozzarella with cilantro purée and cilantro micro greens.

Pan seared dorade with crispy lotus root, peas, greens, and roe. (I don’t remember the sauce)
flat iron steak smoked over fir, with potato purée, marinated vegetables, Demi-glace, and bone-marrow brûlée.
braised beef short rib with pickled mustard green and turnip cake, braised mustard greens, onion straws, and braise liquid reduction.

Ouefs de mayonnaise; soft boiled egg with garlic mayonnaise, trout roe, bacon, and maple syrup.

So I decided to get a little fancy with the snacks today and I had this

Brie and Scamorza cheese with honey on top and some nuts. I didn’t really know that the nut side was actually a thing with cheese and honey until checking online.

I’ll have to get some Gorgonzola cheese and try with that one too. Damn, this tasted heavenly.

10th anniversary dinner: 3 inch thick ribeyes, butterflied jumbo shrimp, green beans with almonds, sweet potatoes and truffle soup with 4 different types of mushrooms including enoki which was really cool (first for me).

Time for amateur porn lol I seasoned the plate and panko/seed crumbed the fish. That’s about the fanciest thing about this (just precut fries)

This was after Axle Squats, Circus Dumbbell, Farmer/Keg medlay and stone loading so I was ready to devour a small nation haha

sweet potato tater-tot with cambazola cheese and truffle mayo (Amuse Bouche)

Gulf scallops with uni cream, pickled shallots, sea beans, and burdock stem.
buffalo tartare with pickled celery
braised lamb neck with masa dumpling and cotija-corn relish
fried duck hearts on flatbread with raita and chutney.

Cheese pastry (pastelito) with guava gummy and watermelon granita
dark chocolate mousse with ladyfingers and some addictive crunchy shit
eggs benny tartine
avocado on toast with egg salad
6-bowl from fresh kitchen… Bbq chicken, steak, broccoli, sweet potatoes, coconut jasmine rice, cauli-potato mash.
wood fired filet mignon with butter, roasted shallot, and two salts (fennel and black garlic)
carrots with creme freche, hazelnuts, and cilantro.
smoked beef shortrib with cornbread drop-biscuits and watermelon.
bone marrow with pickled mushrooms, onion jam, truffle pesto, and some spicy sauce that was amazing. Washed this down with a bottle of Medlock Ames Cabernet Sauvignon, Katie & b’s cuvée.
