We’re actually going to have turkey day on Saturday due to family stuff. And I have something going on with my foot, so waiting isnt bad. Because Thanksgiving is always leg day. GVT.

I had to make a snack. Asiago buns. A work in progress.

Yummy!
I can already tell my first pie crust is going to be a flop. :rage:

Use vodka.

Well, bless ya for even trying. Nice pie crusts = dark magic.

If there was any vodka in the house it wouldn’t be going in the pie crust
Just kidding, shit happens. I whipped another one, and it’s chilling on the fridge.

Lol… this recipe is usually pretty fool proof. I just screwed up
I like to take the little left over bits and sprinkle them with sugar and cinnamon for a little snack.

Fair enough, but there is some science behind it.

You can also use bourbon for pecan pie, fireball for pumpkin pie, rum for black bottom pie, 99 bananas for banana cream pie, tequila for Key Lime pie - as long as the technique is solid you can do anything.

Thank you! I the recipe is pretty similar to the one I use minus the vodka. I will have to grab a bottle next time I am at the liquor store.

Bourbon chocolate pecan pie with a little sea salt across the top is my favorite.
