Except so does EVERYTHING. The financial sectors (largely back Dems) burned down the world economy in 07 and not one of them saw real punishment. That level of retirement loss and unemployment EASILY caused more addt deaths than any “pharma lobbying.”

If you take a drug produced by “Big Pharm” with known side effects for an ailment you brought on yourself and you suffer from those side effects it’s not your fault. It’s “Big Pharm’s”. If you eat McDonald’s three times a day every day for ten years and then suffer a heart attach it’s not your fault. It’s “Big Foods” fault. If you take a $500k mortgage w/ a variable rate when you make $15/hour and then default, it’s not your fault. It’s “Big Banks” fault. Nothing is ever the individual’s fault in Zep’s world. We are too stupid to make our own decisions in his mind. “Big Government” needs to do it for us; hence, single-payer, cradle-to-grave entitlements, etc…

While this is a good point. It does not have as a direct effect in suffering as the monopolistic behavior of Big Pharma. Their business model depends on suffering.
Another corporate party, like the Republicans.
And the popularity of Bernie Sanders says otherwise.
