Following Politics, Following the Money

Makes a complete fool of himself, so he doesn’t have to admit he is wrong. Wow, how brave!

Of course I know this. But it doesn’t change what the vast majority of Americans believe. That’s why I’ve always laughed at your methods of trying to change people’s opinions (insults and affiliate links).

They’re not. They just aren’t smart enough to distinguish the difference in the voting booth.

Of course you can call for it to be changed. But treating anyone that isn’t upset by the status quo like shit isn’t a good way to accomplish that.

So why were taxes on individuals and corporations much higher in the past? Did we have revenue problems during those times?

Yes, it is spending that mostly benefits corporations. I suppose you’re okay with it?Big difference on who the spending is for. While “leaders” of industry will often complain about Welfare it doesn’t bother them to take corporate welfare as it benefits them. Hypocritical much?

No, I don’t care because my life doesn’t revolve around looney toon conspiracy theories and living in the past.

Another response that makes no sense. Typical.

I already explained this to you at least twice in different threads. Fuck off already.

Knowing you, you think this would be different with single-payer because you’re a moron.

I’m 100% on board with the government contracting with the private sector. It’s how the internet was created, lol. Fucking clown.

Probably, but I don’t support corporate subsidies, but I also understand that that’s part of the reason we can’t compete with India/China in manufacturing. You, of course, don’t understand a word of that last sentence.

So why do you think they lobbied against it’s legalization? I forgot you don’t care. You’d do well to think about your answer and recognize the monopolistic behavior of this industry.

If you had an IQ above 60 it would make sense.

Oh I forgot. Must have been all those loopholes that dropped the rate similar to what we have now.

Yes of course I’m a moron because I follow the evidence from countries all over the world that shows single-payer is less expensive often with better results. I know that results don’t matter to you. It’s your ideology that counts. You show it all the time.

We don’t compete with them in regards to a lot of things, like their much cheaper labor. So now the upper level management and the shareholders can have more. Greed is a terrible thing. Jobs aren’t being shipped over so the corporation can survive. It is sheer greed of those who already have more than enough.

I
DON’T
FUCKING
CARE

No. I don’t care… My god, man.

Just as soon as you think about and recognize the monopolistic behavior of the federal government.

:+1::+1::+1::+1:

That’s not surprising.

Correct.

You don’t follow the evidence. You follow your cherrypicked “evidence” which is usually a blogger, someone with an agenda (pnhp), or limited customer surveys. Strong evidence of the effectiveness and cost of single-payer…

@pfury took your own “evidence” and pointed out how Single-payer will cost more in absolute terms. Somehow that makes it less expensive in your, uh… space where your brain goes.

I’ve literally been saying, for years, I want clinically tested results showing the efficacy of treatments so consumers aren’t sold garbage by Pharmaceutical companies and/or snake oil salesmen like the guys you love.

Are you talking about yourself here?

You really haven’t the slightest idea what you’re talking about. Like, do you even know what COGS is? How it works? What it’s made up of? Do you understand how capital projects work? Why companies pick project A over B? How corporate (those ol plain corps) taxes work? How payroll taxes work? How benefits are calculated? So on and so forth.

No. You obviously don’t. You haven’t the slightest clue how any of this whole business thing works, which is why you continue to paste that ridiculous talking point about greed.

Probably the dumbest statement of the year.

Hey boys and girls, the douchebag whisperer has spoken again. If the pharma industry would have gotten it’s way, choice for the public would be limited and suffering would have ensued. But he doesn’t care. He can’t, he’d rather close his eyes, cover his ears and put his head in the sand than to admit the monopoly practices of this industry. Better the public would suffer than profits of the industry to take a hit.

Knowing you, you probably don’t even know what a douche bag is.

This is literally the end goal of single-payer.

Word, no suffering from an overbearing government…

Reading comprehension, try it.

Def a monopoly:

Oh, wait, I get it. You don’t know what a monopoly is. Of course, why would I expect that of you? My bad.

It doesn’t matter how many times you type this it will not mkae it true.

Who is on bed with corporations.

So the majority of worldwide evidence is cherry-picked? But the industry funded info from The Cato Institute is the real deal?

What counts more studies or real world results?

Wow, you SAID it’s dumb so it must be.
