Following Politics, Following the Money

Maybe we should lower it to $5.00/hr. I forgot the 11th commandment Thou shall fuck over the poor.

Dude… Jesus Christ.

You wrote ā€œmore than 1.3 billion people. Please somebody alert them that universal healthcare will not work in a country with that kind of population.ā€

So I pointed out their absolutely disgusting record on human rights. It works there because the Chinese government isn’t ā€œby and for the peopleā€. Their communists for god sake.

Do you get anything?

Coo, bro. :+1::+1::+1::+1::+1:

Great stuff much wow.

Word, much wise so much knowledge.

I love how in your mind giving people the opportunity to earn money is fucking them over when a company has NO obligation to employee anyone.

You’re a simpleton and I thank the good lord every night I’m not #woke like you.

And what about the trillions spent on immoral wars?

Ya @Aragorn it’s mad immoral to kill the people responsible for flying planes into a couple of buildings. Duh!

Far more than 7B. DoD Releases Fiscal Year 2018 Budget Proposal > U.S. Department of Defense > Release

Far less than 2T/yearly.

https://healthline.com/health-news/is-single-payer-health-system-too-expensivehttps://healthline.com/health-news/is-single-payer-health-system-too-expensive

An analysis last month by the state’s Senate Appropriations Committee estimated that a single-payer healthcare system in the state would cost $400 billion a year.

According to the Commonwealth Fund, in 2015 annual family health insurance premiums in the United States averaged $17,322

Spend more in taxes but less in private taxes, save money. Something many other modern countries do but the U.S. can’t. Why?

Meant $700B. I would have thought that was obvious.

One state. Not the United States. Dumb as usual.

$400B for 12.36% of the population. You do the math (lol).

Another brainwashed fool. A person who has been captured by right-wing propaganda and doesn’t even know it. How great the propaganda system in the U.S. works!

Yeah, all the other countries who have implemented it spend far less than we do. But it doesn’t work.

O_o

We already spend gobs and gobs and gobs of taxpayer $$'s on Medicaid, Medicare, and the VA (among other things). UHC would cover EVERYONE ELSE THAT ISN’T CURRENTLY COVERED. In other words, it’s in ADDITION to those costs.

They don’t spend less…

Something only an ignorant assclown would say.

Not so. When the mostly all of the other modern countries spend far less per capita on healthcare. It is reasonable to conclude they are doing it right. If I’m wrong on his, show me.

Well he is certainly a right-winger. Everything else that you bring up on this point is merely semantics.

And some actually are.

Ya, for sure, lots of right-wingers are pro-legalization of marijuana.

So ALL those people who are touting the benefits of stem cell therapy are lying? Why don’t results count?

What was the reason behind the pharma industry lobbying against the legalization of medicinal cannabis? Oh that’s right you don’t care. This is merely crying over ā€œspilled milkā€ Man you’re all heart.

And the scheduling of this ā€œdrugā€ makes it difficult to study. Do not studies from other countries count?

It was first legalized in California in 1996. Don’t you think that would be enough time to see all the negative consequences from it? And would it be legalized this extensively if it wasn’t helping?

It is merely an institutional analysis. If legalized it would cut into their profits and it has. I for one do not care as the public is getting some relief. All at the expense of Big Pharma profit. Who gives a fuck!

As expected, nonsense. Never change.

Says the brainwashed fool whose been captured by alt left propaganda and doesn’t know it.

You’re so deep into buying fake news you’re basically a shill for Big Pharma at this point

Oh no, right wing propoganda

Approximate direct costs of all wars from 1776 to 2008 is ~$6.393 trillion in 2008 dollars.

I don’t consider all war immoral, and in any case it wouldn’t buy us that much.
