Fluctuating Estrogen, Low Estradiol Symptoms. Advice?

Just liked to ask advice used testosterone in the past and now having a second attempt at trt, 4 weeks into new regime which consists of twice weekly dosing of enanthate at 62.5mg every Monday and Thursday, notable symptoms thus far strong morning erections although no libido upon waking cracking joints trouble sleeping and not really getting that testosterone feeling, seems to me I have fluctuating estrogen although mainly low estradiol symptoms question is how is this even possible to have low estradiol despite no introduction of an AI, age 31, lifting seriously for 8 years, 5ft 8, 80kg, roughly 12 percent body fat and gaining weight and width in lats as I usually do on t, main point how do I have low E symptoms with no AI one would assume it’d be rising or in the sweet spot if no anastrazole

Do you have baseline labs? Either way, get them in a couple of weeks.

Not yet to early for first bloods however previous blood that warranted trt was normal total testosterone, borderline low free t, low estrogen and extremely high shbg

When injecting t your body can get a little confused at what to do with all the extra t and fluctuates between high dht-low e2 and low dht-high e2.

That makes sense to me as one minute I’m super pumped and ready to go next minute I’m fatigued with no get up and go occasionally get flushing but that’s the only high estradiol symptom and it’s rare I’m guessing I should just wait for bloods

We are worrying about levels before they have become stable and until 6 weeks levels will be fluctuating. Making adjustments at this time would be a mistake. If you get to 6 weeks and levels are low and you make adjustments, this whole process begins again and levels fluctuate for another 6 weeks.

Since you have baseline labs, would you post your pre-TRT numbers?
As mentioned, hold off for a couple of weeks for your follow-up labs.

OK thanks for all the advice
I have misplaced exact numbers but if memory serves me correct total t 12 normal range 6-30, free t 0.2 normal range 0.2 minimum upto I forget lol, shbg 74 very high I believe top of range in England stops around 52, also I have ignored my docs advice of doing a 125mg once a week in one shot and split it in two was I wise to do this for more stable peaks and estrogen

Two shots is better for stability, but a bigger less frequent shot seems to be better for high SHBG.

3-4 months.

Your body has receptors and they have been offline. Now your body has all this excess hormone and doesn’t know what to do with it. You will have symptoms and a rlller coaster ride.

Estrogen is not the culprit. It’s the balance of your estrogen to DHT , free t and whether it’s all being absorbed.

You really must give it at least 3 months. That’s if you are taking enough to keep free t where your body needs it.

After a few months you will realize that your body is utilizing the hormones and you don’t need an ai or worry about e2.

Until then let’s hope your doc knows what he’s doing. Otherwise your body might be in limbo for years to come

Let’s hope so oddly enough in the past after two weeks I’ve fallen straight in the sweet spot I guess that’s easier to do pre age 30 to be fair I don’t think you can go a million miles wrong twice weekly or once weekly dosing even if you add in 0.25mg of anastrazol on injection days only or e3d so give it time analyse first bloods and respond appropriately

You need a liver transplant, but you’re not going to get one. You need TRT, it’s that simple. You could inject more frequently to minimize the T->DHT conversion.

Also anyone notice any other issues jumping out in those blood test results it all looks ok thyroid wise but my eyes untrained is shbg the only problem also I’ve had liver enzyme test and they came back fine

Same. Mine was 150+ then went down to 90 after I started TRT. All liver tests came back very good, so I’m chalking it up to genetics and or finasteride use in my case.

Anyways. It should go down with a consistent increase in androgens
