First Test E Only Cycle. Need Help Desperately

I don’t post on the weekends. Just saw this.

His best lifts are relevant, because it gives me insight into whether or not he’s advanced in the gym well enough to properly take advantage of the gear.

And he’s clearly not. He’s got a 250 lbs squat, and says he isn’t making any progress while using steroids. No strength gains in 6 weeks. That’s fucking absurd. Any adult male, PARTICULARLY one with 5 years of training background, should be able to make consistent progress at that level, without the addition of steroids. His training and/or diet is obviously horrible. Otherwise, he wouldn’t even need gear to get stronger. So based on this, I think it’s really impossible to assess whether or not his gear is good or not.

Hope this answers your question, jrose.

I am on my first cycle as well. I didnt get good gains until 5-6 weeks. Did you get bloodwork? Theres your answer as far as being legit gear or not.

I don’t think that wondering if your gear is bunk or not is the real problem. Yes it is a problem, but I think the real problem is the diet and training . Diets can be very scientific, but also very very simple at the same time. If you aren’t making any gains there is a problem with your training or diet. That goes with being natty or on gear. If your training and diet is on point you shouldn’t be stuck in the same place for so long. A 250lb squat is nothing to write home about… Especially on gear. You should make adjustments to your diet and training before you worry about your test cycle. Brilliance in the basics. Gotta EAT!

well you did answer the question. I partially agree though. you can’t measure someones gains by what they lift bud. maybe if you are powerlifting but not so much in the bodybuilding world. i have trained most of my life following all kinds of strategies. in my younger years I lifted as heavy as i could. the thought was “big weights, big muscles” … thats only partially true. a good pump is what makes it happen but you do not need big weights to achieve that. in my 20s, i would rep out with 405lb on the bench press. I would straight barbell curl with 185lb etc… today I don’t even bench press due to the injuries i aquired for doing such stupidity. I use 55lb dumbbells for presses and as little as 15lb dumbbells for curls. look at my profile picture. that’s me. I’m bigger than I was in my 20s. I’m 40 years old. the trick is to learn your body. learn how your muscles function. listen to it. give it what it asks for. that took me time to learn. shit i would even dare say much of it could be psychological. I just think of blood filling my muscles and get pumped. lmao!!!

well… its my experience… this might not work for you but my trial and error throughout the years lead me to this…

If you have built a good foundation of muscle as a bodybuilder then you will also have a decent amount of strength on the basic lifts - even if you don’t perform them regularly. It’s impossible for this not to be the case.

Even if you ‘pump the muscle’ the weight you use is still relevant. Squatting 135lb x 15 versus 315lb x 15 for example.

Aside from pictures it is absolutely the best way to judge someones development

I think this is especially true when the person is not very advanced, i.e asking for first cycle advice. You mention that you have benched 405lb for reps, that’s serious weight. If a beginner focused on the pump, rather then getting stronger, i just don’t think they would ever reach the level of development that you have. You don’t get big and strong by accident.

You wouldn’t believe how it happened. I was weighing in at 150lb when one day I stumbled on a dumbbell at the Gym and landed on my ass. when I got up, I was weighing 250lb. and that’s how it happened. LMAO!!! Just kidding my friend. I agree with your statement but in my case I replaced weight for reps. I found that increasing my reps to a count that most wouldn’t even bother doing depending on weight used of course provided me with the same or sometimes even better pump than low reps with high weight. the lower weight allowed for much better control of my form and therfore am able to target the muscle or portion of the muscle far better than with tons of weight in which I then must use other muscles for assistance as i tire. I understand their is a school of thought that suggests certain muscle fibers are only triggered during heavy loads but it has just not been my experience. I noticed that even the shape of my muscles benefited from this change of strategy. maybe the combination of years of heavy weight low rep then changing to the opposite had something to do with it but I will tell you for certain. my greatest gains happened after I changed my strategy and hung my ego at the Gym entrance door and cut out the heavy lifting madness. today I cruise with my baby weights and let people look at me with puzzled faces. I’m sure they assume I must be coming in before or after for the heavy sets… lol!!!

Haha well i look forward to the day that i can rep out 405 and then switch to lighter weights to give my joints a rest - not sure it will ever happen for me though!

I get what you’re saying, but it give a really good indication of what this guy’s physique is probably like. I mean come on. The dude has a max squat of 250. That says a lot, regardless of what his goals are (bodybuilder vs powerlifter).

I get you… but definitely give alternating from low rep with heavy weight to high rep low weight a try… youll be surprised. I love my baby 15lb dumbbells lmao!!!.. believe it or not they are my favorite for curls. but when I use them i typically don’t keep count. I wouldn’t be able to tell you how many reps because I like to do beautiful perfect slow reps until failure. the lightness allows me to keep perfect form until the very last rep. I must add that the right diet, supplements and gear are key. I don’t think I would achieve my pumps without those things in place. in the spirit of sharing ill share my current cocktail…

300mg Test-E EOD
200mg Tren-E EOD
50mg Anadrol ED
50mg D-bol ED

I switch the Tren with Masteron and Test-P every so often. I have mixed feelings about my Tren so I don’t stay on it. I feel my BP raises far more than what I’m comfortable tolerating and don’t really get benefits worth the discomfort. The Masteron to be honest I can do without. The Test-P is by far my favorite. I love the kick it gives me. The combination with Test-E is wonderful. The frequency in shots keeps my levels perfectly steady. I find that even Test-E with its longer half life works better and feels better with EOD shots. It may not provide you with a noticeable gain over twice a week shots specially if the overall weekly doses are the same but in my opinion it just makes me feel better inside. As for the orals, oh boy I love me them orals. specially the combination of them two. I can keep doses lower and get great gains from the two. As for how long I take them for, let’s just say I don’t believe in Kickstarters… lmao!!. I believe using these powerful orals only as Kickstarters is a waste. Using them for 4 to 6 weeks will only provide you with whatever water weight they will give you but stopping after such a short run cuts them off just as they are starting to work for you. I do them throughout the entire cycle. As for liver concerns, although you should keep an eye out for signs I believe the concerns are highly exaggerated due to old school bro-science past on from generation to generation. I have trained with many people throughout my years that in the opinion of most have abused the hell out of these compounds and none have ever suffered from such drastic sides as many suggest would happen.

In conclusion, i think i can get a full body pump with a well blown fart at this point. hell, i dont think i even need a GYM. I just need a can of black beans. lmao!!!
