First Show, What Do You Think?

I have been lifting for the past five years (since a went to college) and it is hard to stay on track with what i want to do with my body. This summer a buddy approached me and said i should do the NGA North West Health Habits Bodybuilding show. I hadn’t lifted for 3 months due to injuries during football. So i was kind of built like a runner at 2051bs. This was only 6 weeks out from the show. I decided i would do it.

Here is the result. The judges already gave me a lot of constructive criticism but could use some more comments from all of you. I weighed 187lbs for contest.

Hard pic to tell from but you look pretty good for your first show, could be more dry and lean but good work just keep it going, the more you do the more you will learn about your diet and what you need to do. How did you place?

I ended up fourth. They said my chest was to small. Understandable also said i need to be more cut which would come from dieting from 12 weeks not 6. Thanks

Sounds like the critism you got was bang on.
Something else to keep in mind is if you were dryer/leaner you likley would of made the top of the lower weight class instead of the middle of the one you are in likely placing higher. That is if the weight classes are the same as what they are here.

A little more time to diet and you would have looked much better. You have a solid base and we look forward to seeing your progress in the future.

no question the mass is there, but you could definitely have come in drier. congrats for your first time out though. you got lots of potential.

Looking good keep up the hard work
