First Cycle at 21. Feeling Biceps Tendonitis

This is my second post. I have a 12 week test cycle of 250mg twice a week. I supplement with hCG. I used to take AI but from my previous post I found out it was unnecessary and too excessive of a dose; my biceps tendons were hurting from what I assume was lack of estrogen.

In any case, I have another question. I’m 21, male and I used to have a great physique but I gained some. I think I might be somewhat above 20% body fat. Got my bloodwork done, my test (free and total) are through the roof. I want to make the best of my last two months of test. I’m considering on going on a semi crash diet - right about where my BMR is if not lower @ 1600kcal/day (I’m 195-190lb, 5’6, years of weight lifting under the belt so I carry muscle mass too). Do you think it’s a good idea? I’m desperate to lose weight and I think this test I’m taking will preserve my muscle irregardless of how low of calories I eat. Typical cut would take me much longer, but with working out heavy 6 days a week, mild cardio every day and about 150g protein daily, do you think I could benefit from this? It sounds crazy but I only have 2 months of test left. After that I’m back to my normal levels of everything and I won’t be able to abuse my body’s ability to hold on to muscle etc.

Advice?

What was your original goal when starting this cycle? Sounds like you might have started prematurely.

AAS are great at putting on additional muscle and at a faster pace. They can be used for cutting, but test alone isn’t the best option for that goal.

I’m of the strong believe that saving steroids for building muscle is far better than using steroids (and taking the risks), for something you can do on your own with diet and training.

The whole “preserve muscle while cutting”, I think is a bit over blown. If you lose a tiny bit, it’s not a huge deal, and if you do it right, it should be minimal. You’re not gonna lose 10lbs if fat and 10lbs of muscle. Especially if your diet is good.

It’s a fair argument but when I first started I was hoping it’d boost my metabolism and help me build a little muscle while cutting (more muscle better metabolism rate). I’m already 1/3 way into it so no point in stopping now. But I have 2 months and I want to maximize my results, at any cost. Would the diet I suggested above work or do you think even with test my metabolism would plummet and I’d lose no fat (or little fat compared to a typical diet)

I honestly don’t know man. I’ve never personally tried to cut while on AAS, so I can’t lend any first hand experience. Others have done so and may be able to chime in.

If you’re going through with it though, might as well add some anavar. Test just doesn’t seem like the best option here. But again, I’ve never tried, so others can hopefully help more.

Here’s the problem though… relying on steroids to cut fat is a set up for failure. If you go back to your old ways after cycle, your fat will come right back.

No way in hell im going back to my old days. I let myself go a little cause of…some personal issues…but it’s over and now I’m just experimenting to see if I can get my old physique back fastest way possible

Crash diet doesn’t make sense. Eat well and train hard. Your physique will change regardless of cycles. When you come off cycle eat well and train hard. During pct eat well and train hard. And before your next cycle be sure to eat well and train hard.
