First cycle advice

I am 49, been on TRT for 6 years. I get bloods regularly and run real TRT not a cruise dose. At 125mg a week I am sitting at the top of the range. I take 5mg cialis for vasodilation and I donate blood every 6 weeks. 6’1", 195lbs. I have done as much reading as I can on trying to design a 12 week cycle, without seeking out a professional coach. I am realistic about what this might produce and would be happy if I was able to add 5lbs of muscle here. The summary of what I have read is that the cycle should be test/Nor19/DHT, so maybe test/mast/npp. My confusion here is I have seen 2 polarized camps with one stating test should be run 2:1 ratio (test 400/mast 200/npp 200) with the other 2 compounds and the other camp saying test should only be trt dose with the other 1 or 2 being much higher, so say test 125/mast 400/npp 400 with the logic that keeping test at a bare minimum will reduce side effects and allow the actual muscle building compounds (npp) to do the heavy lifting. I figured I would post this here to see what more experienced users might have to say before seeking a paid coach. Thank you in advance for any contribution.

A few things - what are you goals, current body composition (bf %), how’s your diet.

Personally, I would just run test at 350-500mg per week in two or three injections, have AI on hand if needed, and see how it goes. If all goes well, you can add another compound for the next cycle.

This, exactly.

Then pivot if needed.

My goal was to gain 5lbs of muscle (if that’s possible). Body fat is sitting at 13% per dexa scan. I also realize my diet is a key factor for anabolism so that is not lost on me here.

Ironically I meant to ask in the original post if I should just run test solo first to see how that goes, then decide. I appreciate the advice!

Yes.

I didn’t need an AI at 500mg per week, but you should have one on hand. If you do need it, be moderate. Crashing E2 is no bueno.

Avoid Hcg.

If you can get away with just test, even at 350-400, and you are lean (which you seem to be), you have phenomenal results - if you train.

Save the other stuff for the next cycle, if you decide to do one.
