First cycle advice – 20/M, 6’3, 225, 2 years lifting. Please no “don’t do it” comments

New account for obvious reasons.

First off, everyone in here is fucking amazing and I absolutely love this community. I’ve been lurking for a while and the knowledge here is insane.

Stats:

  • 20 years old

  • 6’3”

  • 225 lbs

  • ~12-14% BF (semi-lean, can see top abs)

  • 2 years consistent lifting, diet is dialed

I know the standard advice is going to be “wait until you’re 25” or “you haven’t trained long enough.” I genuinely appreciate that people say that out of concern, but I’ve been preparing for this for months and my mind is made up. I’m not looking for a debate on whether or not I should cycle. I just want solid input on the compounds, dosages, and PCT protocol.

What I’m thinking so far:

  • Test E 500mg/week (pin Mon/Thu)

  • 12-16 weeks

  • Adex on hand, will dose based on bloodwork

  • PCT: Nolva 40/40/20/20

Anything I’m missing? AI protocol concerns? Should I drop the dose to 300-350 since it’s my first go? Also open to hearing why someone would pick Test C over E. Should I consider stacking test with another compound? Or play it safe and see how my body reacts with just the test doses.

Nope. You’re way too young. Your body and brain are not developed yet.

This doesn’t make a lot of sense. At that body fat, you should be able to see your abs.

This isn’t a lot of time. If you’re rushing to use anabolic, it would’ve expected you to have longer in the gym even at your young age.

If you post a faceless pic and look like you’re ready, I’ll answer your questions to the best of my ability. But if you look sloppy and not at all in peak shape, no thanks I’m out.

I am going to take a different angle on this reason. Considering that you are only 20 years old, I want to see some pics to see if you are good enough to take AAS. At 20 years old, I will want to be impressed.

to be fair look at my bodyfat im around the same and cant see my abs that well, Im also only 82kg compared to this monster

If i was you dude i would cut down and get shredded since your still pretty hefty, running a cycle makes no sense if you cant bulk on it the whole time because there would be no benefit considering you already have been lifting for 2 years you wont make any noticable gains unless your in a pretty decent surplus. Your protocol is good but your missing ancrilies and supps, If i was you research pharma better you can hop on and run it safely this 25+ bs is oldgym bs. 500 test first cycle is mandatory but retarded your better off running 300 test and var for first cycle and shred with that. 500 test will just give you terrible sides if your predisposed.

What makes you say that? You just posted asking your BF, meaning you don’t have a dexa or anything to go on. I don’t know if you are that low honestly. You have no vascularity at all or muscle separation.

In my pic I’m about 14-15%. In fairness some don’t have good ab genetics. Summary, a pic is worth more than the debate.

This is just plain inaccurate. 25 year old plus is new AAS science. I competed during the 1970’s, '80’s, and '90’s and never heard that as a minimum age for starting AAS. We looked up to Casey Viator who is the only teenager to win the AAU Mr America.

i am quite vascular imo the photos i showed didnt really show it that well but i think its mainly my genetics, Theres no way im not around 13-15%.

i see maybe im uneducated on this then but yeah the community is split heavily, But i think personally the earliest you can hop on is 16-17 yet it should only be gh. I dont think theres much benefits to test before 19-20 as most just do it because they want gains faster but realstically speaking if you wait a bit till your older your in a more primed poistion to run it optimally and a bit more developed to not fuck up on. your pharma

The stark reality is that if when you are in your teens and you start lifting weights and don’t almost immediately see significant size and strength gains, you just plain do not have the genetics to excel in Bodybuilding. You must be blessed with high density of androgen binding sites to put to use either your natural testosterone or exogenous anabolic and androgenic steroids.

Yes gh is only beneficial to its maximum potential from 14-22. In terms of overall growth. Your talking from a bodybuilding standpoint i’m explaining it from a bio hacker view. Your growth plates don’t magically reopen at 30

based off my genetics you think i have good AR?

It is easy to make that determination your self. Are you gaining muscle and strength at a rapid rate, compared to the others around you?

I began lifting weights my sophomore year in college after Christmas. I started looking like about everyone else. Within a year I had a better build than 80% of the others. After two years I had a better physique than almost everyone. The next year I entered my first Bodybuilding contest. And all this time I had taken no AAS. It is safe to say that I had pretty good genetics.

crazy, yeah i see well i am quite ahead for my age group atm but i haven’t been eating right since i had to cut from 98 to 72. Just now im maingaining again at 82kg

This is of those men lifting weights.

What can you bench press 5 reps?
What can you squat 5 reps?
What can you overhead press 5 reps?
How many pull-ups can you do?

Look for a Bodybuilding contest within three years of starting to lift weights. See how you do. Or, enter a Powerlifting meet. If you don’t believe that you are good enough to compete in either of these, forget about AAS. It is safe to assume that you are not good enough to take the risk of using AAS.

I am not asking you to do anything that I wouldn’t do. This is not harsh.

gotcha, well that is a smart but dont you think AAS can just be taken recreationally? Dont need to blast grams of gear to get an ideal physique but a bit of test and mast wont hurt you.
