i made 100ml of test prop and 100mg/ml. fun fun fun. suprisingly it was a success! 10g powder 72.5 ml of sesame oil 5% BA and 15% BB. i will be working on making some EQ next. wish me luck. now i see why everyone likes to make it themselves.
at 5% BA, be prepared for some pain bro.
prop is fine @ 2%…3% if you must, to avoid ctashing.
anyways, good luck.
i must not know what good prop feels like. ive always had mine at 5% ba. after this batch i will make it with 3% and see what happens.

5% really shouldn’t be much worse than 2%,it’s not until the 8% mark that the pain really starts to set it. In fact BA has anasthetic properties at the right dosages.
Personally I found the best thing I did with homebrew prop was to add Triethanolamine to the mix at about 1%, did an amazing amount to reduce the pain. Benzocaine powder at about .5% also does a great job.

i find that 5% prop sol’ns leave me with a little stiffness, esp in the quads…2-3%, is smooth and absolutely painless. i can’t imagine 8%! that being said, 5% is relatively standard…just throwing out the 2-3% suggestion as something to consider for future brews.
My interests are now throughly peaked in homebrew.

Personally I brew most of my stuff with 3%BA and 30% BB. I find that makes the oil flow smoother and the BB acts as a co-solvent and helps keep things like Prop from crashing.
