Finished First Cycle. Gyno After PCT, Help?

@jackinthebakedbeans
I understand why letrozole would sound like a good idea but it’s just not worth risking crashing E2 in my opinion. Having crashed it before I would choose gyno over going through that again. It took months to get back and they were extremely rough months. If you just don’t want to take tamoxifen you can look into raloxifene but I don’t know anyone that has experience with it. You could try tamoxifen with very low dose arimidex as a last result but even that scares me. Look at other forums where guys used letrozole and you’ll see some serious horror stories (I’m sure there are exceptions).

months to get back to normal e2 levels?? whaaat? what did you take that crashed your E2 that bad that it didn’t rebound quickly? letrozole?

crashing E2 on something like Arimidex is only a few days right? same with Aromasin?

@greenboy
It took me a long time to get my E2 back and feel 100%. Anastrozole crashed it. It wasn’t a couple days thing. Drinking beer before bed is what eventually helped get it back up.

how long did it take would you say? and you knew this for sure, like you got blood work? I thought the recovery of Arimidex was quick, like a week.

When I crashed E2 I didn’t know it at the time. Everything I read was how bad high E2 was so I thought it was high E2. It took a while to realize the Anastrozole was what was causing my problems. It wasn’t just the physical aspects like clicking joints, the mental part was way worse. No energy at all and my brain just wasn’t right similar to depression. Crashing E2 was way worse than withdrawals from serious opiates. Even once the physical symptoms were ok it took a while for the mental symptoms to dissipate. It could be a different experience for someone else but that’s how it was for me. I don’t know exactly how long it took to get back to 100% but it took a while.

Question, my doctor wants to put me on testosterone, im 43 and levels r 700, but he wants me to be optimal anywhere from 800 to 1000. My friend is on it cause he did steroids back in the day and told me dont get on that shit, it thickens ur blood nd ull have to do 2 to 3 phlebotomys a year. Another friend of mine said to do anivar instead of testosterone. She told me to take 50 mg a day and that its safer. What r ur thoughts on that and what my friend said bout the testosterone issues?

If your natural T level is 700 you’ve got a good friend there. You don’t need TRT when your TT drops below 300 its time to talk to a good doctor not the asshat that wants you on TRT now.

I would look into getting new friends and then read up on this site. My T levels were 576 before I started and it has changed my life. Plus I look like a stallion amongst a bunch of mini horses. You definitely don’t need 3 phlebotomies as that would be not wise. If taking 2 min twice a week to stick a needle in your ass (or wherever you like) sounds like too much of a hassle to feel like a 25 yr old then you probably won’t want TRT. In all seriousness though you have decent levels but it really comes down to how you feel. For me getting on TRT is one of the best decisions I ever made. Every aspect of my life is optimal. Some people are fine with the “that’s just part of getting old” mentality but for me I want to be as top notch as I can in every aspect of life and TRT is definitely a tool that helps with that. It’s hormones so it’s going to take a little bit of time to figure out what is going to work for someone but once you get there it’s hard to ever imagine going back. So how do you feel?

B6, zinc and mucana pruiens significantly reduce gyno. Get some cabergoline. Never run arimidex with tamoxifen, tamoxifen can also cause a rebound in gyno so read up on what you’re taking with what and how they interact.
it gave me gyno first time as well. I run Aromasin instead and have never had an issue since. Wait at least 2 weeks before taking tamoxi. There’s a really good rich piana cycle support supp worth taking on eBay and a Spartan labs pct if highly recommend getting a hold of.
Also, citric acid fruits like grapefruit and oranges can help reduce estrogen and gyno as can celery.
