Finasteride Sides 10 Years Later

I’m on 10mg EOD (40 weekly) and still dealing with some of those issues I had previously. I was diagnosed with mitral valve regurgitation which is my heart beats weakly to where blood travels in the opposite direction.

It’s not currently being treated for it and am trying to fight for treatment, but my provider is being resistant saying that it’s a mild case. It’s actually holding me back from truly dialing in and feeling the full benefits of TRT.

Well at least he said it’s a mild case. I see the issue though. I don’t know shit, but, could hcg by itself be a possibility?

What treatment are you fighting for?

In what way is it holding you back?

I was wondering that too. Hopefully the vitamin C issues are resolved now too.

Provider is pretty sure my lack of improvement on cream is due to low dose. Suggested to apply 100mg am and wait for labs. Going to try that and see how it goes.

I got some bloodwork done, waiting on dht. Appt tomorrow. 2 weeks on 100mg cream on thighs has my tt at 18 and ft at 289… down from 467 Free T 155-558
27.5 TT 7-31

@highpull I’m going to try for a switch to test cyp. Something like 70mg every 5 days sound like a reasonable start? I had one 50mg test cyp inj about 3 months ago while on testogel and felt good for about 6 days.

Or, think I should go for once a week? My estrogen went from top of range 158 or so to 47.

Thanks for any advice.

Discontinuing cream, right? If so, I think that is too low. Almost all of my guys are between 140-200mg a week and about 85-90% are once a week dosing. However, nothing wrong with starting there and working up if that’s your preference.

No pumps im the gym could lead to no pumps in the bedroom.

Thanks @highpull I may have to raise my dose probably, but, she prescribed 100mg total…
50mg 2x’s per week. I’m thinking top of thigh, she suggested glutes. The pharmacy is going to give me the needles. I think she said draw with 18 g and inject with 26… and mix the location. I’ll be hitting youtube!
