Thanks. I honestly think that about 3/4 of my gains are lean mass. i also have not quite gained 30, more like about 26-28 pounds, since my weight fluctuates some. I have not retained much water at all due to my diet, and the arimidex. I had not started to gain any fat until these last five or so pounds I started to notice I was gaining some. When its all said and done, I hope I will stay at around 195.

I just got prescribed a corticosteroid for a pre-existing condition. After doing research, I have decided there is no fucking way I am messing with that during this critical time. I was prescribed to take it for two weeks, starting at 60 mg/d, and tapering off. Thoughts??

That’s ugly. Depends on what and how bad the pre-existing condition is. If it’s not serious, then you might want to wait or skip the corticos. If it is serious, you might want to take them. Not sure how the co-existence of AAS and corticos will work. Weird problem.
Corticos suck. I’ve never taken anabolic steroids, although I’m most enthralled by your log, but I took corticosteroids for the first two decades of my life (asthma meds, in other words). Sounds like you got a two-week course of cortisone or something. I had a couple of those. Awesome immediate effect on the condition in question, and then around day ten you start feeling like death warmed up, lol. Next time I take something man-made, it’s gonna get me jacked!! ![]()
Hey, if it’s serious, maybe just take them (maybe half the dose) for 2-3 days to get over the worst of the symptoms? And keep the rest on standby. Maybe a quarter of the dose. You know the mainstream medical fraternity, they always overdo things.

Still chugging along with pct. I have noticed I don’t have the drive to go to the gym like I did while on cycle. However, I am making myself go, and still trying to stay intense. I have noticed I seem to have had to increase my rest periods as well, since my recovery is not as efficient.

Day 5 of PCT: bodyweight @ 203.8
Thanks man. Yeah it is noticable now that nothing is in my system. Ha, I dont have that “feeling” anymore. I find myself having to actually rest whereas I was virtually nonstop, haha. I know it is soon, but how soon will I start to notice strength loss? So far, I have actually increased strength on some lifts. Only thing I notice is a significant decrease in endurance, and somewhat of a lack of desire to lift until I get warmed up.
While off cycle I have also noticed my bloat has disappeared (even tho I only had a little), and that for some reason my appetite has gone up. I like this b/c I don’t have to force feed, and I can maintain the cals I was intaking. Also, acne has gotten a little worse. I purchased some vitamin b5 to try to battle this.
You will continue to loss water and extra glycogen storage throughout PCT. I don’t really notice an actual strength drop until the end or even after PCT. Don’t be surprised if you lose ~10lbs from your peak on cycle weight. 2-3 steps forward, 1 step back.
Day 15 PCT:
Bodyweight 199.0
Biggest changes are that I can tell I have lost bloat and slight size, and my muscles are more defined. In the gym, it is evident to me, as any nagging strain or muscle pull I may have had is now a big deal, whereas on cycle it was barely noticable. The same thing goes with my joints and tendons, as they are sore. I know it came from heavy lifting while on cycle. My recovery time has decreased, and I’d say I experienced about a 10% strength decrease as well. All in all, I think I should be happy so far. I am still eating as if I was on cycle so as to try to keep most of what I gained.
Last day of PCT today. Bodyweight at 195-196.
I think this is decent considering the last week I had some personal issues arise and was extremely stressed. Therefore, my diet was nowhere near what it had been. Nonetheless, I have kept about 20 pounds so far, which is good for an 8 week cycle IMO.
I have been thinkin of a possible cutting cycle after I have cut for about a month. I would like to get accustomed to my calories before I added gear. I am thinking around January for the cycle. I have some Test E left, but was thinking of getting some prop. I also can get TBol really cheap, but was thinking about Var too. I can lean up easily, and would love to see what a little gear did for me. Thoughts of a potential cycle?
I am going to cut without gear, and then maybe add something towards the end near vacation time. I have maintained/gained weight since PCT was finished over a month ago. I have added bodyfat, but that is fine since I didn’t cut calories and preserved my muscle. I am weighing around 203. I expect to lean out around 180-185 and be shredded. I will include pics once I finish.
