would kill for your shoulders. I have long heads on my shoulders as opposed to the ball shape and have no clue how to change that. Could you PM me your shoulder workout? pretty please? or if anyone knows how to round out shoulders?
To be honest with you blaze, I think my shoulders come from 3 things. Sprinting, surfing, and hitting them twice a week in the gym.
Sprinting I think causes the fast twitch fibers to fire off, surfing causes a crazy burn from paddling (like dumbell flies to failure for 2-3 hours), and I’ll do standing dumbell presses twice a week in the 4 sets/ 8-15 reps range.

this thread also made me laugh because i just came from one where some douchebag tanned up and dieted down to look like a joke and then i come here seeing a regular guy who just knows what hes doing and made results without being a cunt. again, good job dude.
was this the tanned up douche you saw?
thanks for the comps - just trying to see what i can make my body do.

I gotta ask, do you normally keep that low of BF%, or was this taken after a cutting session?
Either way, great physique, keep up the good work.
That was where I got lucky in the gene pool lottery, I’ve always been that lean. I try to keep it all together with good eating and hard lifting. I like to look at it as a science experiment - what’s going to happen if I do xyz to myself?
These are from my experience of error with skinfolds never mind those ridiculous impedence gizmos. … i thought i was great with a 4.5 on skinfold so i got a dexa and it was 7.3. . . made a bita sense cos i didnt have glute striations! haha
hope it puts it into perspective

I’m going to give it a go to see how many calories I’m really getting in
One question though - I live on the other side of the world, so right now it’s Thursday and your website is telling me it’s Wednesday. Is there anywhere I can change that, or should I just mentally add a day to everything?
Aside from that, great website. makes adding meals, calculating calories etc so easy. Thanks a lot
The more I look at this thing the better I find it - with just a click I can find previous weights I’ve used for the current exercise I’m looking at, I can look at the calendar and be shown exactly how many calories I consumed each day, etc etc etc
My only worry is, because you’ve obviously made it and hosted it yourself, will the site be taken down at any point? Because it would be a shame to lose all my training logs
Hey Cornelius
I really never even thought about people across the world using trainersjournal.com; kinda cool, so I didn’t plan on other world time zones, but I’ll definitely look into that.
The site isn’t going anywhere either, it’s hosted on a big rig server in New York, and will be running for a long time to come. I’m glad you checked it out and are using it, gives me a sense of pride.
Thanks.
If you have just started deadlifting, you will be happy with the results it brings. I wasn’t big on deadlifting heavy weight reps (for me this means 315~450 lbs at this point) until about 6-8 months ago.
After adding sets of 1-6 reps in this weight range to my weekly workouts, my traps have thickened, neck has gotten fatter (in a good way) and forearms are growing new veins like crazy. It truly is a great lift to strive for the best at as its strength benefits are so noticeable. Good luck with it, it deserves to be in all of our lifting regimens.
I haven’t seen this one yet. Wow looking good so far. OP, if you’re still posting, have you been able to add size to those legs (which already look good) yet?

Well it’s only been 3 weeks since I started this post, so maybe to my eye I can notice a subtle difference, but nothing worth posting. However I do think over the past 3 weeks, getting different advice and reading some recommended articles, that I’m hitting my legs more efficiently.
This past week for example:
Monday was squats with a board under my heels. I’ve always squatted deep, but the last 2-3 inches was me bending over vs now I’m completely upright and the depth comes from the flexibility of my legs - it’s awesome.
Thursday was sumo deads. Only my 2nd time doing them, and I think I finally nailed the form. Such a different angle, it’ll be cool to see how those play out.
