Finally saw 9/11

biltritewave: Since you didn’t see or answer my question in another post I’ll ask it again here. You seem to be upset that Clinton pardoned people(crimminals)when he was Prez but why don’t you seem upset that Bush(the elder) did the same thing?

Does anybody care that the men and women in the armed forces are called children? By brother in law just signed up, and he is in his mid 20’s.

Nobody has yet realized this is just using words to twist meaning. I know of no children in the US armed forces.

We should be more respectful.

Um…where did you ask this before? It has nothing to do with what we are doing now?

I have no knowledge of Bush Sr, doing anything like the Clintons did, Part of this may be that I was 11 when Bush left, and in college when clinton left, but if you have some legitimate beef and evidence to support it, then bring it forward. i have no doubt however, that it is laughable when compared with the myriad of controveries and scandals the clintons took part in.

As for the draft, no, it really isnt a legitimate question. There is no draft. All attempts at Charlie Wrangling one are attempts at scaring people into thinking their sons and daughters could get called to serve. This obviously works with the mothers and fathers of children who no doubt grew up in the vietnam generation, and completly ignores the fact that there is NO CHANCE of reinstating the draft. I take this very personally since I get letters everyday from scared parents and college kids that think the government is trying to steam roll them on this one because some (moveon.org) decided it would be good tactic. Its appalling.

As for who is serving, I dont know the exact figures off the top of my head, but two congressman I happen to know well have kids over there…statistically its not worth mouch, but considering i only know a few congressman, its a reasonable percentage.

thanks,
me
