I was not alive for long in the 80’s…i probably missed out.
The main chorus in this song reminds me of rocky training montages, olympic athletics, Brian Olfield throwing shotput, Mike Tyson doing jump rope and knocking people out…stuff like that. Flavor of the day.

My mother told me that when I was just a kid I’d sit near the radio or the TV if I heard that the song was standing and I’d “sing” to it. I say “sing” because I had no idea what they were saying.
Some years later I rediscovered it with this clip (this is the remastered version)
Europe seems to be a one-hit wonder though. Can’t remember any other good song by them.
