Oh Renton - I only came here because of you.

I want to see the avatar on the Zap Branigan girl - I’m going searching

I am hot.
Hey Zap… Nearly 17,000 posts and it took me to realise the truth. How you doin’?

Yeah have you seen the avatar on that Zap Branigan girl!?
Thanks. You’re the second person in this thread to assume I’m a naive dumbass who can’t tell the difference between random guys with chick avatars and actual real women that post here. ; )

Once again - I was going by the numerous pics in their profiles, not just an avatar.

I only post on FA (I guess that streak is over). The women there are top notch and really friendly. I have yet to read an arguement.

What happened to the site?

I like FA. Sound articles, and I never have to wonder ā€œbut would this work on a womanā€? I toggle between both, too. I have to second AirHarp – the figure girls don’t flame or troll or argue.

why wouldn’t most things work on a woman?

and the posts over there are heavily moderated. That is why you don’t see squabbling. I’ve had my posts either edited or not posted

I do like the site, but it is mostly just the women’s training logs. They really don’t comment on any articles.

and they do have good articles over there. I do like them. Even if the training isn’t your focus, you can get some good tips out of pretty much every article. I like their nutrition articles a lot and their beginner articles break things down and give good step-by-steps.

I read all the articles. I learn a lot from them.

I don’t post on the site frequently.
The women seem friendly but as OG said. Heavily moderated.

Hey guys, I realize that Testosterone and MWA are to diffrent web sites for a reason, but does anyone read the MWA articles. i never have but im sure some people have or do.

The articles are intended for a female audience, so fuck no, why would I want to learn how to clean dishes and wash clothes?

You see that, Sen? This is why you’re #2. You can’t hang with that!

Alot of good information in FA articles, wish they posted more often.

OG and jchenky, we don’t have any different moderating guidelines for Figure Athlete than we have for T-Nation. So I’m not sure why you see it as being heavily moderated.

Hi Laurie,

Just recently in one of my posts I had (I am paraphrasing because I can’t remember it exactly) something about nut hanging and tit hugging and they deleted the ā€œtit huggingā€ portion of my post, but left the nut hanging.

no PM sent to me to explain why.

A while back some just weren’t allowed and I drifted away from the site. You really are not allowed to get curt or in your face over there. I understand wanting to weed out the trolls but in discussions you can have disagreements.

Not bashing the articles though. I like the info over there and have even linked articles on here to the articles over there or cut and pasted parts of the articles.

I wasn’t trying to say that women need pink dumbbells or anything; I certainly take training advice that has a male intended audience. But there are a few differences: we need less food, we’re proportionately stronger in the lower body and weaker in the upper body, we don’t put on muscle nearly as fast. (Not 50 pounds in 12 months, for sure.) I have to guess how much my mileage will vary if the article is written for men. Doesn’t mean it’s not useful, of course.

It’s because they know how much drama pops up without guys there to keep them distracted.
