No idea. But he is. Why is Green Lantern’s ring useless against the color yellow?
Because being useless against wood made him too vulnerable to rape.

Personally I hate comics but…
As for real world sports. If a women can do the job better then a man who cares. As long as it helps the team win. Same with any other position in life for a women. If she can do it let her.
BUT I absolutely draw the line at hiring based on gender or race quotas. My view is the best people for the job that is it!!

btw… Frank Frezetta is the best! hands down
BrownTrout,
The Conan picture that you have is a classic.
Obviously Wonder Woman could throw Superman a beating. Here he is this shy country bumkin who’s never seen seen a piece of ass that wasn’t wearing a denim jumper, and all of a sudden, boom! All the poor guy can see is tits and ass popping out of WW’s stripper armor and before he can blink he’s sporting a raging erection. Have you ever tried to partake in hand to hand combat while sprouting mega-boner? Hell no! The guy can bench like 200 tons, he’s got 15 gallons of testosterone for blood, and it all vacates his brain the second he sees that hot piece of ass. He’s lucky to be alive.

Word!
Otep: She came close in the cartoon. But again, its the cartoon. She probably bested him one time or another. But since its Superman, he has to pull out some bullshit and win. Big Blue Douchebag.
Maybe it is the cartoon im thinking about

Superman was never trained how to fight. He’s a farm boy with super powers. That’s it. Wonder Woman, Batman, Wildcat, Black Canary, and other DC super heroes are trained to fight and kill. So I’m not surprised when Wonder Woman whips his ass. He’s never had the killer mentality. He’s always been “Please stop, let’s not fight.” And after the 5th punch to his grill, he says fuck and gets serious.
And anything that has cross-brand (DC vs Marvel for example) can’t be taken seriously.
Now i don’t know if you made this thread to be a sarcastic jerk or have a real conversation about comics. Let me know. I don’t want to be the only comic geek in here.
Wonder Woman could possibly take Superman . . . she is magic, after all. And a few thousand years old. Raised in a warrior culture, fighting other people as strong as she is.
As for Superman training, he was taught boxing [possibly Muay Thai and Capoeira also] by Wildcat, the go-to trainer for a vast majority of the major martial artists in the JLA/JSA. He also actively strength-trains.
But . . . he’s also spent his entire life “putting up psychological blocks, limiting” his accessible abilities. He figured out early, early in his life that if he didn’t he’d crack open the planet.
Supes has also mixed it up with a lot of things at or above his level, including trained soldiers from Krypton.
As far as the Green Lantern weakness, it’s from the living embodiment of fear getting shoved into the main power battery they all access. It can be overcome by people with a lot of experience using the rings.

This is true. Superman always holds back. If he hadn’t learned to do that, kids would be going to the hospital left and right simply from bumping into him in the hallway in high school. He fears killing people…anybody, so he never lets loose with all of his strength and power…except when he fought Doomsday and again he tried not to kill him.
Superman may not really have many limits aside from the huge restraints he puts on himself.
Most of the superheroes would be psychological cases if they really existed.

So which Superman are we talking about? The Superman who could jump over buildings, but couldn’t fly. Are we talking about the Superman that could push Planets? Are we talking about the Blue Electro Superman? Super Boy Prime? Super Man Prime?
Which trumped up piece of shit Superman are we talking about? They’ve changed his power base so much, I swear. Invisible force field, healing factor, and other crap.
And if they were consistent about his magic weakness, Wonder Woman should cut him like a hot knife through butter.
Superman should get his ass whipped by any one near his Strength level who is a legit soldier or legit warrior(Zod, Wonder Woman,).
This thread has officially become a comic book thread. All other trolls can get the fuck out.
Justice League episode.
And Otep, I can’t find a legit comic where Wonder Woman beat the shit out of Superman. But I know she has better fighting skills.
So I’m gonna put a couple of things together. Things like…

And I’m going to conclude that while said comic (probably not said cartoon) may exist, it’s probably not
what Clippy’s talking about, because it’s probably older than the time period Clippy’s talking about (my guess- about ten years ago). Instead, my guess is Clippy made up some shit to start shit. Which, in retrospect, I guess should have gone without saying.
(and just to be a dick, I’ll point out WW beats Supes in the JLA clip you posted only because Supes pretty much stops fighting half-way through. Because he’s just that kinda guy).
I’ll agree that WW probably has better fighting skills though. I mean, she’s got formal training. Supes is just… Supes. I mean, Batman took out Supes, and he doesn’t even have superpowers.

Certain superheroes like Supes, Batman, and Wolverine are given a certain Jesus fire due to their popularity. So I’m not surprised when they allow Batman to beat Supes, allow Supes to beat trained warriors and ignore kryptonite, or …I won’t even get into Wolverine.
At least I respect Bats. Fuck Superman.

Alright…enough is enough, man. You say one more “fuck Superman”, and me and you are fighting. Don’t make me take a road trip down to NC just to prove that Superman is cool. Just as it was stated before, Supes holds back. If he decided to just cut loose, he would kill Batman and make Wonder Woman his Amazonian bitch. Quit hatin. And before you even say it, yes, I have a superman emblem tatted on my forearm. I’m a fan. Now watch your mouth! lol

Dude wolverone gets fucked up a lot, he’s popular despite not being ths strongest marvel character.
Prof, I strongly encourage you to look up “Irredeemable.” It’s Superman after he loses his shit. All of it.
Highlight include a body count exceeding 4 million, the sinking of a landmass larger than an island, smaller than a continent, some really freaky voyuerism, and the most realistic psychological portrayal of people with powers I’ve ever read.
