Oxandrolone (Anavar) is by far the best choice for females for strength gains. It doesn’t jack your appetite like Winni or Eq, has fewer side effects, and I found when i was powerlifting that it gave me faster strength gains. Equipoise was awsome for strength (i used lowest recommended dose for females) but I started growing a penoris and my voice dropped very noticeably.
It also made me want to eat everything in sight so, i was fat strong. Winni was good for strength and size gains, (used at 10 mg/day for 8-10weeks) but even at a low dose 10mg, there was alot of bloat and increased appetite. With winni, strength gains were retained after finishing the cycle, anavar not as much, and Eq the least of all. The winni also jacked my liver values quite a bit.
I tried stacking clen with winni and that seemed to work the best as far as leanness, energy, hardness, and gains, but i was a total cunt to be around.
I also found that there is no substitution for training your Vag off, having your diet in order, and getting enough sleep. I ditched the gear, and while it sucks to feel like chick again and have periods, i enjoy not having to shave my legs twice a day and pluck nipple hairs.
I leaned out alot ( by about 20lb), and kept 75% of my strength gains. I just supplement with creatine now plus a plethora of other supplements for brain health and stress control. I find if I’m taking care of my brain and endocrine then the rest is easy.
Edit: my experience my not apply to the diehard competitor but it doesn’t seem like that’s what the OP is describing.[/quote]
Beth really appreciate the advice. No she’s not going to be a “diehard” competitor or anything like that (my main reason I never did the stuff). But because she’s trained with me and I was not judgmental about it she asked me about it. She’s used a variety of supplements and just isn’t happy with gains in muscle and strength. I would imagine that she would use until she got what she wanted and then we shall see what happens.
