Feeling Suicidal Because of Deca Dick

Obviously deca/NPP/tren fuck people up. In different ways, I’m sure. But you do realize how royally fucked up it was for that guy to post that.

“Nothing is worth your life. By the way, I took a similar drug, but it did the opposite thing to me, instead of being chemically castrated, I had the libido that you long for right now, in fact, it was too much, so I stopped like you stopped, but instead of things getting worse like they did for you, my life is perfect now. Don’t take what you already took. Sincerely, Captain Hindsight.”

I also suffer from the same symptoms after 2 weeks on tren:
No libido
Lack of emotions
Lack of motivation
Lack of joy in life
Social apathy and lack of feeling human connection

Read @ztanzanite’s posts and go his profile to find his old posts. We think the issue is with the brain primarily, but this may be fixable by treating the adrenals.

Would be interesting to see what your adrenal labs say. Try to get a DUTCH test done and get interpreted by a specialist.

Edit: @ztanzanite is 100% healed

absolutely not, I hated my life when on NPP I didn’t realize it at the time. I felt superhuman, I felt amazing, but I had horrible mental side effects. I was simply giving my experience of bad side effects and not knowing it. I’m sorry if it came off as bragging or something like that. From what I read he is still on gear despite the sides. Maybe I misinterpreted that, but I was suggesting that he get off gear.

I am not sure if you are still checking this thread anymore but I just read this and can drop a fair bit of knowledge on this subject. As mentioned briefly by other users, nandrolone and trenbolone have progestin activity, this means they interest and activate the progesterone receptor. Progesterone signalling plays a crucial role in dopamine signalling in the brain, as such alterations to progesterone signalling from using deca or tren can alter your progesterone signalling.

Too much progesterone signalling or too little can negatively effect sexual function such as libido and interest in sex, but it can equally effect various aspects of dopamine signalling associated with the reward system etc. this is likely why you and other users are reporting loss of motivation, drive, loss of pleasure, loss of personality etc.

What many don’t realise is that progesterone receptors are expressed on dopaminergic neurons in your reward system etc. such as the striatum and can directly affect dopamine signalling, in cases completely inhibiting the ability of dopamine to activate dopamine pathways. Studies in mice have found that the presence of an unoccupied progesterone receptor was essential to the induction of sexual function in response to dopamine.

With this in mind, if your progesterone signalling is out of whack, it may not matter how much you alter androgen levels etc. as the progesterone changes could have taken effect at the level of the dopamine neurons and the dopaminergic system.

Something to note is that, too little progesterone activity can negatively affect sexual function and so too can too much. It would be wise to try cycling a progesterone antagonist such as Mifepristone. Progestins tend to downregulate progesterone receptors. Its possible that your heavy DECA or Tren cycles downregulated the progesterone receptors and they may be stuck in this downregulation after stopping DECA, so its possible by using a progesterone antagonist, that it tells your body to increase progresterone receptor expression or it could in some way reset your progesterone signalling. I can’t guarantee anything but it is worth a try. I can go into much more depth about progesterone if needed.

Just remember when hormonal system get dysregulated, there is usually a way to get them back into some form of order with the right compounds.

Hi Flynn,

Greatly appreciate your knowledge in this area, I have a post on this subject :

https://t-nation.com/t/tren-d-ck-after-summer-2018-cycle/257759/35

I’m going to try get my adrenal function tested, male hormone function (Again) and then go from their. The issue is finding a dr in the UK who recognises when things aren’t optimal.

Often they say well you don’t have any disease, but it’s not really helping my lack of sex drive/sexual function.

Nearly exactly 2 years from my cycle and I still have issues. so fingers crossed. I’m going to upload all my latest results when I can finally have the tests after covid 19 and pray someone on here spots what might need altering or changing.
