Feeling Different on TRT vs Blast

Perhaps you haven’t been on the appropriate protocol, your SHBG is low and your protocol inappropriate. These large injections suppress SHBG and is a perfect idea for someone with high SHBG, but now low SHBG.

Low SHBG is something I know a lot about, while larger doses don’t really affect me much, I do feel remarkably better on a daily protocol. By having low SHBG you lack the natural buffer to balance inative hormones from those hormones active and are left with excess free hormones.

My FT and estrogen are sky high on protocol with moderate injections, free estrogen is in the stratosphere because SHBG is low. Excess estrogen can cause men to feel angry, agitated and aggression. It does sound like you had these mental problems pre-TRT and expect TRT to cure all your problems.

Having optimal hormones will only help you deal with these mental issues and suboptimal hormones will make it worse. Those who have low thyroid function are expected to have mental issues and the problem a lot of us face is doctors telling us out levels are normal when in fact they may not be normal at all.

Have you ever tried an EOD or daily protocol?

Do you have any thyroid labs?
