Feeling Bad When Starting to Eat Clean

So school has ended and I’m home now, cooking all my own meals and really monitoring my nutrition.

I’m one to go all out at a given goal and objective, and I wanted to clean up my diet and achieve my maximum levels of performance and health.

That being said, I pretty much dropped all the junk I was eating, cold turkey. Haven’t had any HFCS since I began, way more whole protein, far fewer carbs, tons more fruits and vegetables. Whole and unprocessed foods for everything except my post workout shake.

That being said, these first few days, I have felt pretty crappy really. I’m guessing that’s because my body is somewhat shocked from the dramatic change in my nutrition? Stuff I’m likely to be addicted to by now, I’m no longer eating and my body still expects it maybe?

I feel like I remember Dave Tate talking about how he threw up and stuff when he went from eating McDonald’s daily to eating really clean.

Anyone’s thoughts or experiences would be great?

Usually it’s the reverse situation.

I guess the body does have to adjust though.

Are you gonna let your body push you around!?

Punch yourself in the stomach until it gives up!

I had the same problem, although I didn’t get it until a few days in. Push through it, it’s worth it

How much have you reduced carbs by, and how many are you having a day now? That’s my guess.
